    * ../forumSettings.php doesn't exist. Correct the value you entered for Relative path to your BBS's config file

that is the actual error

my forum is at www.unswcomsoc.com/forum and cpg is at /gallery
m just wondering if there is any support for  SMF 1.1RC2 yet.. maybe thats the problem?

The smf bridge hasn't been tested with smf1.1rc2, that's why I shy away to upgrade this board to this version, so you might be right - there may be issues with smf1.1rc2
We usually only test with final releases, not beta software nor release candidates, as it's simply too much effort.

Please state exactly what you are entering into the bridge manager.

in the first one

http://www.unswcomsoc.com/forum

and the second

../forum

i think the problem may be that SMF has renamed their settings file to simply Settings.php instead of forumSettings.php
