Title: integrating phpbb2.0.19 cpg 1.4.3
Post by: nyltak on January 22, 2006, 04:10:05 am
logging in to forum does not log you into coppermine. I thought the problem was cookies or paths being wrong,  . but it appears that new accounts after the bridging are recognized. But not accounts that were in forum prior to bridging.

If a user is a member of a group within the forum, but that group does not exist in coppermine, will that user not be recognized by coppermine?

Did you go into Groups Manager to sync the groups?

when clicking on 'groups' after begining bridging I am told to log in,  which starts the process of going to forum login screen, logging in and being directed to coppermine, no longer logged in.   My test account  works and I gave it admin rights, The groups appear to be syncd,  but users prior to bridging still are not recognized by coppermine.   I am going to try a few more things....

ok,  the problem was, when I upgraded my forum from 2.0.15  to 2.0.19 , I failed to upgrade my user_groups data.  so coppermine only saw the new users.

thanks for returning and saying that you did something wrong - it takes guts to do that. I wish all users did the same thing.
