I want to aktivate the members of my gallery by hand. So nobody can see the photos before I activate their account. Is there a way to realize that?

you can set the 'public and private upload approval' in the groups manager. Means pictures your members are uploading becom vuisible after the admin has approved them

That's not what I mean. I want to check every person who registered to my gallery, before I aktivate their account. So I only give the permission to see the photos to my friend. At the moment every person who regiter in my gallery, get's access after the email.

there's a mod that will do something like that. It sends the admin the activation link. Search the mods board for it
Or you disbale new user registrations and manually add users in the user manager.

Pro2k,
Under CONFIG, did you set "User registration requires email verification " to Yes?
And, did you set the properties of each album to be viewable to registered users only?
This way, only those whose application you have approved can see these albums.
Of course, it will not affect those who have already registered.

But "User registration requires email verification " means the user who registers has to click the activation link sent to his own email before he can access the gallery. It does not mean the admin activates the user himself.
i also need to know how this feature can be implemented.

Did you search as Stramm suggested?
