You have an Session issue since captcha plugin doesn't works either
Check if this (http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=36319.msg206506#msg206506) apply to you
-
I checked out that thread and i now have the captcha plugin installed but still not working. Any other ideas? I dont want to send them out of coppermine just to send me an email.
Iam a newby, so maybe i messed up somewhere on the way.
-
what is your session path?
-
Iam sorry for so being new to this. But iam not sure what a session path is.
Ive only had some experience, if you can let me no what and where it is i will let you know what my session path is.
sorry again being a pain
And thanks for the help...
-
- Open up your text editor (i.e. notepad.exe)
- Put this code
<?php
phpinfo();
?>
and then save it as a phpinfo.php
- Upload "phpinfo.php" to the server and run it
- Now look for session path
And don't forget to delete that file after issue solved

{\rtf1\mac\ansicpg10000\cocoartf824\cocoasubrtf410
{\fonttbl\f0\fswiss\fcharset77 Helvetica;}
{\colortbl;\red255\green255\blue255;}
\margl1440\margr1440\vieww9000\viewh8400\viewkind0

\f0\fs24 \cf0 <?php\
phpinfo();\
?>}
is this correct?
-
NO, It seems that you are using an advance (rtf) text editor (I'm not using mac) to create that file and so it doesn't work
download attached file and rename it to phpinfo.php and upload it to your gallery
-
ok i will try that... thanks
-
Ok i did it. I still couldn't find the term session path. I found session.save path.
Here is a link to it.

hope this helps
and agian thanks so much for taken the time.
coppermine rocks.
-
Ok here you go i saved the file instead.....its attached.
-
Ok , You are using absolute session.save_path and it's fine
so your issue is different , unfortunately I can't suggest anything else without having a ftp and admin account of gallery
PM me those info if you happy with that and I will check your server when I've got time
-
I sent you a message with all the login access if you have any problems let me no. Thanks you agian for taken the time.
-

Ok all fixed. So i contacted my host and the ini file had to be edited.
session.save_path = /home/users/web/b1209/pow.gus12gus/phpsession
instead of
session.save_path = /var
Thank you very much for the support
My contact is now working......
