I have began in Aout ...

Too many things I don't like :)
(for example, I'm writing on CSS tabless and when we see a pic, first click = popup, 2e click = the popup grows to show the real w/h of the pic so ... click = close win)

I like your theme! :) Can you send a link to a zip file containing the theme?
By the way, there seems to be a bug there. :? When I click on a thumbnail there is an error message abov the picture:
Warning: main(include/exif_php.inc.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/trevor/public_html/displayimage.php on line 25
Warning: main(): Failed opening 'include/exif_php.inc.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/trevor/public_html/displayimage.php on line 25

Thank you, for the heads up on the error message I was working on trying to implement EXIF data ..... the site http://www.trevorlarson.com is just for app testing ...
As for the theme my copy would do you little good as you would spend as much time removing my proprietary links and logo images as it would take you just to edit the colors in css of the "default theme" that is all that this theme really is

Here is my personal site that I've used Coppermine on...using it to share pics with my family and friends.
http://www.ericandtracie.com
I've taken the ssi.php that I believe gaugau provided (correct me if I'm wrong) and add Simon Inns' Summary page to the front page.
Great stuff on the other sites that are using Coppermine!
-
Well, my wife just about killed me just now. Told her I was working on the Coppermine project and she said "Oh, the stuff we used to put up our wedding pictures?" I was surprised she remembered that was "Coppermine".... I said yes. Well, she was looking over my shoulder and saw the "Share your galleries" and said, "so you posted ours?" "Well, I posted the band's..."
Oooops.
Oh well, here it is, with apologies to my wife.

This is a free online photo album for students in NCTU Taiwan.
It has been up and running for two days now, and the response has been excellent! I have posted a few feature requests on the requests board based on user feedback. At the time of writing, there are already 700 registrations, and I expect the numbers to continue climbing until next week. Thanks for a great script!

Sure, I'll send the stuff you ask on that thread later.

Thanks Oasis! =)
I changed the srcX and srcY of imagecopyresized function in include/picmgmt.inc.php
Check php.net's explanation of that function.

I'm (slowly) working on a tableless css theme that can be installed and used like any other CPG theme.
The changes I've made to my CPG have been rather extensive and like I said before, almost every file as been modified which makes impossible to share anything less than the entire code to make it work.
Releasing "my" code would be irresponsible, to say the least.

I do the official website for a musician named Sophie B. Hawkins, fans are always sending me performance photos, and I was looking for an easy, organized way to display them, when i ran across Coppermine a few weeks ago. I instatlled it , and it has been working very well for our needs, and everyone seems to like it.
This is the url to the gallery http://sophiebhawkins.com/gallery
I am using a combination of the airhead and waterdrop theme and changed colors to sort of match the rest of the stie, but may change some things if I ever get time.

My gallery so far: http://www.peytonism.ws/personal/gallery/. I only have a few pictures there (30 or so) but I'll be adding more soon.
So far, I'm using one of the downloaded themes. I'd like to eventually create one of my own, or at least, use one that was more CSS-oriented so I could get it to match my site.
BTW: I really like the way that Coppermine integrates with phpBB. That was probably the major "selling" point in it's favor, when I was looking at galleries for my web site.

I've probably gone the opposite direction to other people - I've customised phpbb2 to match "hardwired" (cool theme!). Plus a little customisation of the CPG header graphics and menu...
It's for my local Photography Club... not yet "released", but more or less ready for prime-time. We're hoping to attract members from EVERYWHERE! Hope you like!

Very nice site :D .
Browsing through your site, I noticed your instructions for uploading. Have you thought about telling your users how to use the xp_publish facility, so they can upload more than 1 at a time?
Also I see you are allowing up to 1mb uploads. I hope you have a lot of webspace
One final thing, as your site is a camera club site, have you thought about using the custom fields for such things as 'Camera', 'Lens', 'settings' etc.
-
Man... that slipped straight by me! What a great idea! I'm on 98SE myself... so a bit of "word-blindness" crept in when reading the readme about that. I'll have to cadge an XP box to try it out. Cheers!
Oh, and space isn't a prob... I'm hosting this on my own machine with plenty of room to spare (heh! For now!). The "custom fields" idea is another great one! Thanks. You're a star!

I host this gallerysite http://gallery.kmfstudio.com/dsample/ which people can upload pictures to for free, but instead of getting a gallery sort by user, all the pictures are to be placed in the appropiate camera-album.
This site is meant to be a central place to hold photos made by certain camera's that shows off a quality aspect of the camera, so would-be buyers can evaluate if the camera suits them. (for instance, photo's thats shows the noise, CA, speed of the camera are appreciated).
I've came up with this idea while trying to choose a new digicam. I've looked for a lot of samples taken with the camera's. But because these photo's are always scattered around the internet, i've decided to make one central place where owners of a digicam can upload their photos for free and so that would-be buyers can check the pictures out before deciding to buy.
Non-registered visitors can upload 1MB of photos, but registered members (free) gets 10MB. If they're more active they'll get additional storage room.

If you're interested I've just updated my website to include a gallery at http://p2.fudgecakedesign.co.uk
My site is based on XHTML and CSS standards and I've tried to hack a Coppermine's theme to be compliant too. Unfortunatly it's not possible to get it to pure CSS level.
I hope that you won't recognise it as a coppermine site! :P
If you need any info about the CSS hacking then let me know.
Cheers,
Pete.

Just loaded it all up and got it running Thursday, I'm still tweaking the design a bit, *hopefully* the film strip will change, I like the idea but I'm crazy about the way it looks now. Anyways - here it is:

Switched recently to Coppermine from Gallery. Happy overall. A few things that are irritating me, but I'm finding ways around them.
http://www.artdroid.com/mindseye/ is the Coppermine Gallery.
http://www.artdroid.com/ is the main site where I'm integrating Coppermine into visually.
Still not entirely sure about the White tables... seems kind of obtrusive to the overall design.
-
Well, might as well post my own little gallery here...
http://docgonzo.com
It's a little hobby site of mine, only partypics from a local club here...
Running an adapted version of the GraySatin theme at the moment...
(hope that's okay with the designer?)
It's been running alongside a phpBB forum (haven't had the guts to do the integration thing :) it went wrong the first time :))
More info on usage : http://www.docgonzo.com/webalizer/
Enjoy ;)
PS : any remarks would be greatly appreciated...

Hi,
This is a new gallery featuring screenshots from the virtual world Second Life. The snapshots are contributed by the community of users, and show off the things they are able to make and do in-world.
A small amount of the images show nudity.

Thanks very much to the Coppermine team. This was easy to setup and is turning out to be a great community resource for us :)

I overlooked the fact that you added a FAQ / Links navigation menu button to your gallery theme. That is a great idea. I will have to search the forum and add that to mine as well, thanks! Interesting community as well.

Very nice modification of the default theme. I particuarly like your little navigation icons. Are they yours, and would you mind if I used them?

Yes, they're mine. I did them in a hurry, so I don't know how much sense they actually make for what they're linked to. I need to spend some time in Photoshop and make more consistant/better ones.

I just worked on migrating from what I was using to coppermine, I really like the way this system works. With moveable type moving to the pay system I'll be overhauling half of my site and will try to do a theme to make the gallery match the rest.
73 albums 4249 pictures and counting, most of them taken by me or my friends and I.
I've been trying to go through and list search criteria more and more so that the search functions really well, and it's good to hide easter eggs with.
thanks

@ nova-bossa. I would like your site a lot, if you had left the 'powered by coppermine' visible. Making it the same colour as the background may not technically be against the rules (I don't know, I'll leave that to Hyperion or Gaugau), but it's certainly against the spirit.
@ DizzyG, nice site. How do you have the random use of themes? Does this cause problems fo users on dialup?

It actually is a violation of the GNU GPL terms imo, because it's obstructing the meaning of the copyright notice. Of course Casper is right: it is definitely against the spirit, especially if you even post a link to it on this board. Please be fair and "turn it back on" by changing the color of the css-class "footer" to something readible.

Hello everybody,
Saw already an impressive list of people that used coppermine for their pictures.
I use it to build up the largest visual online dbase for military aircrafts.
So far I have 1947 pictures in 558 albums and 87 categories with 15 comments viewed 25403 times.
I have only 1 complain and that's the fact that all my aircrafttypes are stuck together in 1 list.
Example : a lot of countries fly the F-16. So when i put the picture in his proper folder i have to choose between 10 F-16 al together in 1 list (hope this will change with the new version)
But for the rest, let the good work continue.
My galleries can be visit on http://www.militaryaircraftcollection.info
Enjoy!!!

I have only 1 complain and that's the fact that all my aircrafttypes are stuck together in 1 list.
In version 1.3, they have the name of the category or sub-category they are in, so it will be easy to know which 'F16' album to place the pics in.

right... here's the one I have done...
Cheers to who ever made the 'hardwire' theme it was by far my favorite, I did modify the buttons, colors and of course added or banner and brand/logo ...I honestly don't know a thing about php, so I just changed the graphics and kept the file names the same for hardwire (please tell me this was ok to do)...I'm huge on giving credit where it's due and copywrite..so I'll do what's needed to fix anything If necessary.

@marian: the coppermine license doesn't allow you to obstruct the "Powered by Coppermine" notice at the bottom of the page. Changing the color scheme to let the notice appear with white text on a white background is in fact the same as removing it completely (and don't you tell us it happened "on accident" - you are running a standard coppermine theme with only this "minor" change applied).
I think we can have all rights to ask users to have this link back to the Coppermine homepage, removing it reveals your character: you get free software and free support and you're not even ready to help others find a similar piece of software; instead you try to make site visitors believe you coded the gallery by yourself.
You already misbehaved in the past, so there is no more support for you here. You are temporarily banned to post for at least 10 days (and don't you dare re-register with another name). >:(

-
I've reported you to a moderator, I just hope one other than you reads it.
READ MY OTHER POSTS. I never mess with php files, I told you that. I wouldn't know how to change that colour. I used Fantastico to install Coppermine, I couldn't have even done that otherwise.
Furthermore, I can ask my ISP to check the server logs and confirm that I haven't modified any Coppermine php files.
You have been rude and arrogant to me before, you dont offer support, you just put people down and now you've falsely accused me. I am very angry.
I hope you can manage to find the grace to apologise.
PS. Furthermore, my so-called "misbehaviour" has consisted of not understanding that I wasn't supposed to post on more than one topic, in a thread I started myself. Coppermine is a great product, its only drawback is YOU.
-
@Gaugau - MarianM seems to be running the default Rainy Day theme and the copyright notice in that theme apprears as it is appearing now... White on Light Gray background - Was it any different before?
@MarianM - Cool down - there seems to be a real misunderstanding in this case.....

@marian:
OK, I validated this and have to confess I was wrong to acuse you of removing the "Powered by Coppermine" tag - it is there on your page. I apologize for doing so. The reason I didn't notice the link was: I was using my notebook sitting in my garden while I checked this thread - the sunlight must have made the contrast between white and light grey undistinguishable. Sorry again.
But I'm not sorry for banning you, after reading "Coppermine is a great product, its only drawback is YOU" in your reply. Also, you were meant not to re-register - I think that means we're even. If you don't like me, I don't care.
Here's what I'm going to do: I'll lift the ban for your original user (and delete the other user "MarianM" you created instead), I will ignore you (as much as possible) on the forum. This is a cease-fire in my eyes, hope you're ready to accept.

I've got my avatar lab gallery to work!!
OK, so it isn't a huge gallery and I actually haven't done any modifications to the template other than a few small changes to the template.html of one of the supplied themes (thanks DaMysterious for that one!). I just wanted to show my appreciation for a fantastic gallery. It's the best!
I have animated avatars online too! I got around the .gif file problem by simply batch converting my files (adding thumb_ to the start of each file) and uploading them a second time through ftp. Not a big deal, the avatars are all 40kb or less.
Anyway, I'll be changing a few small things on the site but will probably not alter the gallery anymore.
So here, go check it out: http://theavatarlab.net (click galleries on the navigation).
Feel free to grab an avatar or two while you're there. ;D
psst: make sure you download the actual avatar file and not the thumb_ file as they may be lower resolution.
Cheers,
Fey~

Well... this is my first foray into posting here. I've taken Coppermine and integrated it with my website. I've recently changed the implementation of my site's design to accomadate WordPress (http://www.wordpress.org) and made it validate to XHTML 1.0 Strict. I didn't want to have different segments of my site validating to different specifications, so I hacked a bit at coppermine and have gotten it to spit out markup that validates to XHTML 1.0 Strict (at least, for the non-administrative sections - I was mostly concerned with what rendered out for the users). The biggest pain was finding and fixing the coppermine credit footer (XHTML doesn't like the "align" attribute).
Some caveats: I know the site renders like ass in IE and I'm caring less and less. There is one issue that I'd like to resolve, though. My custom footer tends to occasionally render improperly on some of the pages that render dynamically (like when popping up the image information from displayimage). It fixes itself if you reload the page, but it is rather annoying. Is this something that can be fixed with a display:block css attribute applied to the footer div, or does anyone know?
At any rate, hop on and let me know what you think. I'm curious about what folks' impressions are. The content is a little light, but I'm adding more each day.
The site is http://misaligned.net and the gallery is http://misaligned.net/gallery

Hi All
Here's my coppermine gallery site. It's my first one and I'm really happy with it. Got great results from using cpg-nuke.
http://www.mentaloriental.com
It's basically a site dedicated to wallpapers for the Motorola vXXX series of phones. Its sorta got an anime/asian theme to it for the gallery. I really like the private album optionand I hope that this picks up on my site. Anyways, I just opened it up and would appreciate any and all constructive feedback.

a2z - Capture Your City (http://www.cluckbook.com/a2zforum/)
I've been working on this site for the last 9 days and think it's good to go now. Thanks to the help provided on this forum, especially the prompt replies from GauGau, which allowed me to solve what would be complex problems with simple solutions.
The forum - http://www.cluckbook.com/a2zforum/ is phpbb Version 2.0.8a with a few mods installed, mostly admin side. The 'a2z checklist' and 'a2z themes' are custom coded to link in with the gallery, a2z checklist showing the images taken by an individual, updated as they upload an image.
The gallery - http://www.cluckbook.com/a2z/ is Coppermine cpg1.3.0 with phpbb integration. The theme used is Hardwire which has had basic alterations to add a few links at the top.
The site has 26 albums, lettered A-Z, and each letter is a 'theme' that the user should go out and take a photo of, thus capturing their city in images.
Now I have to dig out my camera and go and shoot stuff :)
Thanks for the software and for the help in getting everything running smoothly. Coppermine is obviously linked from the gallery, and also briefly linked on the 'about us' page. I look forward to seeing the software develop further in the future, keep up the excellent work.

Well... I fixed part of the problem, I think. The thumbnail generation code was only spitting out the width. Without the height, the render engine was prematurely placing the footer higher than it needed to. Fiddled with the compute_img_size function and fixed that. The only place it happens now is when I click the "Display/hide file information" button when the actual image is being displayed.

All but the newest photos weren't "photoshop'd" , I only started using it to adjust color balances and crop etc.. but you will notice the difference in the pics.
This site is one for all the nature lovers out there, and a few kayaking , ww rafting , etc.. pics

Those butterfly pictures are great.
Yes you can see a difference, but I think PhotoImpact would have done the job equally well, at a fraction of the Photoshop price and, perhaps more importantly, learning curve.

Take a look at my albums. http://moya.us/MoyaFamily/Albums/ I've integrated the look into my site.
I've also formatted the html differently.
Let me know what you all think.
Thanks

edit 8/16/04:
In order to format the output the way I did I had to change several files. I kept a log of my changes. Where do I post them? Is anyone interested?

post your theme on http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?board=26.0
Put all your modified files into a zip and attach it to your posting (use "additional options" at the bottom left of the screen when composing a message to get the attachment options).

Cheers - thanks very much.
It's amazing how quickly you can change the look of the gallery by just altering the style sheet - (duh!) - I used TopStyle (http://www.bradsoft.com/topstyle/index.asp) - it made it quite easy.
-
Hi,
Some smaller size pictures (wallpapers for cell phones) can be found here:
http://www.my-ringtones.net/gallery/
The look and feel is like the general site and I have also used the same theme for my phpBB forum (integration works fine:-).
P.S. How are you dealing with the copyright issues if you have a public gallery? People tend to upload others/copyrighted pictures also. Is this illegal and can you somehow protect yourself from this (with copyright text on the site etc.).

This question should not go into the show-off thread. Post it on the support board instead, and you will get a more detailed answer (although no real solution).

@slingshot: the page layout is distorted for me (using Mozilla/Firefox 0.9.3 with 1024x768 pixels), see attached hardcopy. It works however in MS IE6. Needs some more optimization imo (although it's really a nice layout once you view it with IE).
Attachment one (the jpg) shows a small impression of your page, attachment two (the zip file) contains a 1:1 size pic.

broken in 1.0PR as well. :( Probably needs to do some tweaking of his CSS.

Here's an interesting thing. I've set up a custom field in which I am linking to an external site from my gallery. This allows me to show people the exact geographical location on a map where any particular shot was taken from.
You can check it out on my site by viewing any picture that has comments. Since setting this up, I have also discovered another site that allows you to overlay aerial shots onto the map. This is fantastic since it can show you in real life where the shot was taken. If you're into displaying landscapes, or any shot taken outdoors, in your gallery, this is a great feature for your visitors and adds another dimension to Coppermine. Bear with me though, since I only set the site up a less than a week ago I haven't had time to add comments to all the images yet.
Also for your general interest, I've now built the whole site around the hardwired theme that I've modified slightly. All the pages look the same and the gallery slips into the layout seamlessly- enjoy!
-
Coppermine simple and effective, just installed it yesterday and added over 400 pics, just have to do the comments, etc

Hey all, not sure where this would normally go as never bothered to do this before. :-)
Anyway, I hope your all happy and well! I have been using coppermine for a good year or two now, but have never normally dont much in the way of changing the look etc yadda yadda yadda
Well this time im on a big project of my own and needed it to fit in with my site just right so here is what i have
Head over to http://www.sunnymonkey.com and go to the gallery area!
I really want your feedback on the design, would you like and dont like. And maybe what I could add or remove to make it better? The css is a bit dodgy as I bodged quite a bit of it, but I think it works pretty well. Seems to show up fine in IE and FireFox :-)
I look forward to your comments, and I really hope that people may even register and put up some of their own images to get things rolling :-)
Many thanks all!
Dave
-
@itrends/Dave: I quite like the design (especially the rounded corners and the drop shadow). The font size of the css class main-text2 doesn't match the overall look though - I suggest you reduce it (especially when comparing to the "regular" tableh1 font size. As the gallery will probably be visited much more often than the "about" section I suggest you swap the background colors (just personal taste though), I prefer the brownish background of the about section over the blue-green gallery background - it gives a warmer look to the site (especially as the site has the name "sunny" in it). The black text over the rating graphics is barely visible on the dark background ("Rate this file (current rating : 0 / 5 with 2 votes)") - I suggest you either change the background or the font color. The rating graphics need attention too imo - they look as if they didn't belong to the rest of the theme (hey, in fact they don't - they're out of the box) - would make the site look more complete if you had some rounded squares without a star in it - similar to http://www.sunnymonkey.com/snug/images/box-D.jpg , just smaller.
Good work though - thumbs up.

I think I will just repeat what most people has been proclaiming here, Coppermine is a great product!!! Thanks guys.
http://www.hasby.com
I used simplified version of Hardwire theme.
-
I've switched to Reynolds' theme, edited the layout a fair bit to make it more asthetic (imo, at least), added an introduction to the template (actually this still isn't perfect because the introduction stays with the page.. I shall experiment with anycontent & figure out how to fix this.
Added some personal links into the menu...
Goals I have but cannot figure out yet:
1) Have a page that generates the top 5 photos of the week by views
2) Have a column for 'photos viewed' statistics next to categories & albums to see what really gets the most views.
3) Have photos that can cross-reference.. but I understand that isn't possible yet.
edit: Oh yeah, here's the link: http://www.madeinbc.ca/anvil
-
@ Anvil,
so where is this site. This thread is so others can see them ;D
You should definately use anycontent.php to add intros etc you only want on the first page.

Hello everyone,
I just wanted to show the Coppermine community how I take advantage of CPG & PHPNuke to better display my photography.. I am a 3rd year amature photographer and I find CPG such a *critical* tool for those who are pursuing this field. I hope my site can give you guys/girls some insights... please let me know if you know any similar sites I can go take a look at as well.. Here's my world of photography:
http://www.saitomedia.com/
**click on the photography to enter CPG gallery. Please pardon my website design.. it's still being worked on, and there are very little graphics around.. Also, I have my equipment list under "about" tab. For any questions, please feel free to use my forum... or better yet, please sign my guestbook if you have time! I hope I can contribute something here..

Hey all, im back again! Just finnished doing a nice customisation on a new gallery using latest coppermine build.
I would love anyones feedback with regard to what they think of the colours and display along with any suggestions on how to improve it :-)
It is currently on this temporary domain name during development:
http://www.seekoutproperty.com/nightclub_image_gallery/
The rest of the site pretty much doesnt work but the gallery is up (with example pictures) for you to get an idea of how it has come along.
Please let me know what you think, I would be most grateful, I like to do these personal designs instead of just using the default like a lot of people :-) LOL
Look forward to your comments.

First off I would like to congratulate everyone here for the great software and the hundreds of posts that I have used in making my gallery. I've created a few different Coppermine Galleries but the latest one that I am proud of is here:
http://eviljoes.com/frontline/index.php
It's a beginning site for those overseas to host their letters and pictures from Iraq or wherever the military sends them. I don't know PHP but have been "slaughtering" HTML since 99 - that along with so many hours of searches here have allowed me to carry the Coppermine Theme into a whole website,... I still have a few things to do and clean up but I'm pretty happy so far,...
-Cheers and Thx,
Chris.

Well, after a lot of trial and error, I finally got coppermine to look like the rest of my new website.
Originally, I wanted to integrate Coppermine 1.3.2 into WordPress 1.5 (the program that I'm using to run my website). But on the advice of some more knowledgeable people in here, I abandoned that idea due to the inner workings of each program and their not wanting to play well with each other when using php includes.
So as it now stands, Coppermine runs as a standalone program and movement between Wordpress and Coppermine is done using a link on my navbar. I started out with the hardwired theme and played with the template, theme, and style files until I got the desired results. I still may have to work on a couple more layout issues once I upload more photos and create more albums to see how the program reacts, but I'll do that as I go along. I also turned off features in coppermine that I don't think I will use like comments, ratings, etc. I just wanted a simple setup to display our photos.
Anyways, the main layout is now in place.
If you decide to check it out, please understand that I'm new to both Coppermine and WordPress, and I have very little content on my new website. In fact, now that I am close to finishing the layout, I will dump the server and start up again with a fresh setup of both programs to eliminate any orphaned files. Your comments, suggestions, or constructive criticism regarding the layout will be appreciated.
Those interested can see my results here: http://www.rvadventure.ca/photos/index.php?cat=0 (http://www.rvadventure.ca/photos/index.php?cat=0)
Thanks for everyone's help getting me this far.

I just finished building a site for a client who is a landscape photographer http://www.unfilteredlight.com.
I found Coppermine to be really easy to customize once you understand what to change. I was able to completely customize and fit it into the look and feel of the rest of the site. Also a plug for the webhoster http://www.advancednetworkhosting.com/ who fully supports CPG and had install scripts available so installing it on their server was a snap.
-
@sdunnin: very nice work on http://www.unfilteredlight.com/ - I really find this a very good example of what you can accomplish using coppermine. However, you might want to review the hover properties of the alblink class - when I do a mouse over on the album name (in IE), it jumps in size, making the whole section beneath it "shake".

Here is my site. ;D My wife and I foster kitten litters for our local animal shelter, so we have tons of kitten photos in the "Foster Litters" category. It took some doing, but I got the gallery to blend into the rest of my web site.

Hi !
Just started to use Coppermine for my Free Arctic Photos.
Works great - but I need to do some layout changes to get it a little more personalized!
Have posted some images from the Arctic cost of Norway .. . Many more will follow.
And the images are under Crative Commons license - so everyone can use it!

Thanks. I've fixed the rollover problem and cleaned up the CSS a little more. Once again I wanted to say how pleased and impressed I was with CPG. Great product!

Well, I've made some major changes to my site. I'm now mimicking the look of Coppermine in my content pages. I'm not good enough to create a theme from scratch, so I modified an existing theme, VERY slightly.
The site is a source for space wallpapers and is basicallly built completely around Coppermine.
Take a look at www.finalfrontier.za.org (http://www.finalfrontier.za.org)

Hi all,
I recently migrated from Gallery^H^H^H^H^H ... Can I say that here? ;) To Coppermine and am quite happy I did. I'm hosting a Gallery based on the latest Gran Turismo installment, 4. There is a great 'photo mode' in the game that allows you to take pictures of your cars in game. Control over aperature, WB, Focal Length, EV, Shutter Speed, etc. are included in this photo mode allowing you to create some pretty cool shots.
This gallery currently has 200+ pictures in 13 albums.

Hope you like.

Ahh well might as well join..... Have been using coppermine for a while now, about 2 years. Have been modifying it for a while now, i'm always happy with a new update, but the downside is that i have to change everything again... But it's worth it. A lot of the mods i use get incorporated in the next version, thankfully.
I'm not a good at skinning themes, so i used waterdrop as a base and started from there to make the gallery fit with my site.

I have a couple of cpg's of my own, - but now I've done a small 'site' for a photographer friend, - using Coppermine obviously.
http://www.heegaard-fotografi.dk
The last 'square' on the front page goes to a very trimmed version of 2Bornot2b, - he has no need for users, - ratings, search, and needed a very 'clean' interface his customers can look at. Also it won't show anything larger than the intermediate file, - it's not a fault, - it's made that way.
Kim Igel.
The 'content' of the 'squares' on the frontpage is not done yet (for now the content is the same), - but the look and feel of it will be like ths.

We now have almost 6500 pix in our gallery; http://www.bymnews.com/photos/index.php all sorts of boats from sailing dinghies to megayachts plus watersports from windsurfing to ocean racing.
I've just changed the album list to have 5 in each row, as regulars were moaning that it was taking a long while to scroll down with just 2 in each row. I also changed to the default template today, to keep loading time down to a minimum.
Now I need to upgrade Coppermine. ??? I've been putting it off because I installed it with Fantastico, but I cant upgrade with it. The pix take up 1600+ Mo and we have 4000 available, so with the rest of the stuff on the server Fantastico cant back up. So I'll have to bite the bullet, backup to this laptop and do a manual upgrade! ::)
-
We highly recommend manual installations and upgrades. You don't really need to backup the media files for upgrade purposes since the upgrade doesn't touch the album folder. However, for sanity purposes, you should have a backup in case of server failure or human error, etc. ;)

Tks for that, I do back up the database to my laptop daily and my ISP backs up all daily; its just that Fantastico automatically wants to create a backup on the site. I expect once I've done an update I'll say "What was a scared about!" ;)

Hi All! I'm brand new here, and just spent all of yesterday redoing my entire photography website using Coppermine1.3.3 and DaMysterious' kaki theme. I made a bunch of modifications, mainly to "brand" it and change the colors, but I really dig the layout of kaki and ease of use of CPG! I'd love if you could check it out and let me know what you think, what tweaks or changes should be made, etc.
http://www.titoi.com
But first...
1. I know the splash page sucks. I'm going to redo it today, pending approval from DaMysterious to use the kaki layout for the rest of the site (which is actually just two pages, the splash and "about". They desperately need changing.)
2. There aren't many photos up yet- I have tons to go through and get ready for upload.
3. I'll be adding the Paypal mod soon(ish) so I can sell prints from the galleries. Rawk!
Any other suggestions and opinions are welcome. Thank you!
Andi Hazelwood
www.titoi.com
edit: even though I haven't yet heard back from him, the entire site has now been modified to fit the kaki theme and I gave DaMysterious credit at the bottom, just to be safe! I'm really diggin' the look now.

I just started a thread with a link to my photography galleries, then saw this thread. Oops. ;D

After about a few weeks of tweaking and fiddling with the standard install of Coppermine 1.3.2, I've finally got my site looking just how I want it :) It's alll different kinds of photos, from holidays, days out, photos of my pet cats, etc.. It can be found here:
http://photos.edgladwin.com/
I installed 1.3.2 using fantastico, then added the search engine friendly upgrade from hamaraphotos.com. Then I added my own "about me" and "contact me" pages, added the mod to let you change the thumbnail sort order individually for each album, and then just added and removed little things on nav bars, menus, etc., to get things looking exactly how I wanted.
I also decided that I didn't want to use the full search page, so I added a block at the bottom of the main page which lets people view all photos of a certain type, i.e. all landscape photos, all wildlife photos, etc..
Thanks for taking a look at my site! If you do ;)

We have set up a community website for a community in West Wales - the website is in Welsh. What we found was that if the info is easier to find here than anywhere else then people will use it eg. bus timetables, phone numbers for local electricians, plumbers, shops etc. As this info is static and we want people to return to the site time and again there is also changing content - eg. an events calendar using nuke, photo gallery using coppermine, and also info like church services, football fixtures etc. The site is on http://www.dyffrynaeron.com and the gallery is on http://www.dyffrynaeron.com/llyfrlluniau, but you won't understand much of it unless you speak Welsh!
Coppermine was translated to Welsh for the purpose of using on this site, and thankfully Welsh or Welsh/English coppermine galleries are now being used by a lot of organisations and individuals.

Very nice professional looking gallery.
There are some non-working links, but I expect you are working on that.
The only thing I didn't like was the thickness of the white border.

Thank you for the comment. You don't like the thickness of the border....is it too wide or to thick?
Also I think I fixed the non working links.

The day where CPG will use xmlhttprequest, you can put all your content in index.php :)
I have ADSL (8mb/s) I have waited 27 sec to load ALL the page (thumbs) ... and I don't think 8mb/s is a standard :)

Still needs a bit of tweeking and picture captions/info need to be filled but it's viewable. Homepage needs a lot of work - very generic at the moment.
Using: Coppermine 1.4 with modified themes.
Default: Singapore theme

All suggestions are more than welcome!
Thanks Coppermine for a exceptional product,

Okies, that's my lil sandbox coppermine. You can register (without the need of a confirmation) and play away.
It's a modified Kubrick theme. All my mods I've published are running here. I guess another 5-10 not published mods and a handful from other authors. Most are behind the scenes mods. But you can check out the watermark mod, better thumbs hack and the resize fullsized images mod. To test the comments notification hack it's best to create two accounts. Then have a look at your profile and start commenting and testing ;)
all is based on CPG 1.32-1.34
[edit GauGau]Link not worksafe, adult content![/edit]
http://stramm.mine.nu (only on when I'm working)
[edit Stramm]I've put a blur over the already 'artistic' image. If you guys still think it's sexual offensive I'll remove the link[/edit]
edit: I've added an avatar system. Coppermine generates a second batch of thumbnails (user defined size) that get used now by the comment notification system. Useres can pick from these an avatar too or upload one that's independent from the pics in the database. Avatars get shown next to the users comments, in his profile and in his PMs

Arck, your content is much to wide for the theme, it doesn't display properly on 800x600 or 1024x768. There appears to be some improper table nesting as well.

http://www.sortons.net/photos/
No table, creation of a cache system for categories (faster of first loading), url for each layer.
-
Our gallery used to look like it does here in the coppermine gallery http://cpg-contrib.org/displayimage.php?pos=-20. Because it had loads of album thumbnails it was slow loading, so I got rid of them and it now looks like this http://www.bymnews.com/photos/index.php. The person who has uploaded most of the pix hates it. She says "I don't think it looks like a gallery of over 10,000 photos anymore and it is boring, it does not encourage people to look in the albums. Marian thinks this way is better for dial-up, but I think dial-up connections are in the minority now and you expect a gallery to be slower to load than a normal web page."
What do you say?
-
Still way too much content for my taste. Having the albums shine through definitely would be overkill. I'd even reduce the page more. You might want to create a splash page before sending visitors to your actual gallery overview. This is of course no technical advice, but a matter of taste only.
-
Just wanted to share my gallery that I recently created. It doesn't have a lot of content yet but I think you'll get the idea. Here's my URL. http://www.harvestpa.com/cpg134/index.php I went with the Kubrick theme because I thought it complimented the color scheme of the rest of the site. Also, feel free to explore the whole website if you like. ;)

Ok Ok GAUGAU, Could you recomnend me a best style for my gallerie plz,,,

this is not a support thread, but a show off. Start a new thread in the proper support board if you need help. I guess you'll have to edit any pre-made theme to make it fit in such a narrow space. Integration using an iframe is not recommended anyway.

Hey Hey Finally got my double scroll bar thingy solved (for how to get the solution to this see http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=14721.0 or do a search for aimenglish or "double vertical scrollbars").. now I am just looking for a good skin or someone to help me intigrate it into my site seamlessly (I can pay if you can do the skin I am looking for!!) .
The photo album can be viewed at http://www.aimenglish.ca/photos/
It is a new one and most of the photos are origional... I still have lots more to go, but I am still having some problems...
On skins... the coding is very important. On the "Fruity" skin which I liked and used as my default skin, it displayed double scroll bars on the right side. There were a number of suggestions but nothing seemed to work. I tried different skins and they didn't have a similar problem with Netscape (my default browser). Before you go off on the staff (like I did), please take the time to check that the skin you are using has been coded properly to your browser of choice (do this by choosing the different skins in each section user, admin, config etc..). I understand the admin are very busy, and are under appreciated. I was ready to take a flight over there and tear a peice out of them, but please check all your bases first. If it works in the default setting, then there might be a modification that someone has made that over rides that. Always check the default first (it may not be what you want it too look like but it works).

Let me know what you guys think. Also, is it possible for the administrator to have more than 1 album because I am not sure how to do it.

Also, is it possible for the administrator to have more than 1 album because I am not sure how to do it.
As admin, you shouldn't user personal galleries, but the public ones that you can create using the "albums" button in the admin menu. Refer to the docs for details. Don't reply on this thread, as it is not meant for support - start a new thread on the support board that corresponds to your coppermine version if you have further issues.

I have been using Coppermine as a phpnuke module for a while but due to the security issues I had to disable and remove.
However, since my main community website(www.soychicano.com (http://www.soychicano.com)) still uses phpnuke and my users constantly request a photo gallery, I have installed Coppermine(Stand-Alone) on a separate domain(www.SoyChicanoGente.com (http://www.SoyChicanoGente.com)).
I just want to say, the new version is awsome! I love it. Just need to get a moderator's group to allow others to help me out with the upload approvals, and user comment moderating.

And from time to time I'm making, just for fun, themes for 1.3.x and 1.4.x now for friends and other sites.

Just wanted to say a huge thank you to the coppermine team and congratulations on such a fantastic script and support forum. ;D
I looked at many many products, both proprietary and open source and coppermine seemed to fit the bill most appropriately.
Our site has been up since October 2005 and has 23792 photos in 502 albums and 38 categories with 7977 comments viewed 1885648 times. We do not allow users to have their own gallery - the photos are all photos we have taken ourselves (we been busy snappers! ;))
We have over 12,000 registered users.
(Touch wood) - Coppermine has coped faultlessly with this load and we hope to continue to use and support coppermine for many years to come. The support has been great and Nibbler created a fantastic mod for us. :-*
url: http://www.smileonthetiles.com (http://www.smileonthetiles.com)
Edit by Julala a short time later : Users now at 17000 with around 30000 pictures - server struggling with the load very badly. We are on a dedicated Xeon Dual Processor with 1 GB RAM. A useful benchmark if nothing else. If anyone has any suggestions on easing the load please PM me. Cheers.
Edit by Julala: Added another gig of RAM and hay presto - running like a dream.

Hi,
Just wanted to share my gallery as well. I launched it today. Only 227 files in 22 albums as yet. But my greatest achievement is the customisation of water_drop theme to my current design, without any help from anyone! I came to this forum several times with questions but ran away scared every time when I read exasperated remarks aimed towards posters who were too quick to give up.
So here is my gallery, all my own:

http://www.cncworld.org/gallery/ - Features exclusive pictures from Westwood Studios (the creators of Command & Conquer and the RTS genre) as well as tonnes of beta screenshots.
335 files viewed 3593 times since 17th Feb 2006. I decided to use the script soley for displaying my images and so user upload has been disabled. The gallery matches the rest of my website, however I took the descision not to include the left and right navigation as it would have meant updating the skin everytime I added a new page.

Since my upgrade is finally running smooth and looks like the way I like it most I'm proud to share my website filled with party pictures of mostly Belgium and Holland (some shots from France and Spain too).
I think my gallery is unique because all the pics are taken with a digital SLR and are shown in almost 2 megapixel (this summer I'll go to 2 megapixel).
I try 2 specialize in girls with short skirts, but there always guys wanting the show their mug in front of my camera :o
Current stats: 1.3GB of pics: 5240 files in 86 albums and 5 categories with 159 comments viewed 871007 times after 9 months of running online.
All enjoy!

Thanks,
I enjoy the challenge of taking photos at gigs, but to progress beyond local bands I really needed an online gallery to show off with. I looked at most offerings of galleries available both commercial and free, but coppermine was the only one that allowed the flexibility and the ability to 'hack' that I wanted.
Now that I have something to show off, I hope can get more opportunites to shoot more bands now. (although there is a temptation to build another gallery on my other photographic hobby subject of cycling as I have been wading through the Tour de France pictures I took last year).

You want feedback? The "Powered by Coppermine" is nearly invisible: tiny font size, bad contrast. Leaving the link unobstructed and visible is little to ask for imo.

Please have a look at my site, I'd really like any feedback.

This thread is interesting.
I set up several galleries and this http://achievehigh.org/Coppermine is one of them. Please check it out. Most of the pictures are Chinese actors and actresses partly because I like portrait photography. I plan to add backgrounds later.
I've found visual arts fascinating and have also uploaded many artworks and/or wallpapers. I'll post a wallpaper among the many I've collected for you to look at below. I am new to this forum. I am unsure if I can add this wallpaper in my post but I thought it would only add more interest for your reading pleasure. Thanks for viewing.

Running- Stramms's Modpack (not all features incorporated yet)
- CPG MiniCMS v1.5
- Full Size Access Plugin
- Multiline comments v1.0
- Onlinestats (Who is online) v1.2
Theme is a modded BlackBirch
-
Installed 1.4.8 (Classic Theme) at Photographic Catalog of the US Merchant Marine Academy (http://academyphotos.net/)
Not in production mode yet. Waiting to take and upload the images. Test photos for now.
Installed mods and hacks:
MiniCMS v1.5 by Donnoman (works like a charm!) - http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=15543.0
Search Engine Friendly URLs v1.0 by the devs (had to do a lot of editing to make it work - not the devs fault, but every server is a little different in handling mod-rewrite)
User selectable Slideshow Speed mod (from my post - http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=32531.0)
Self populating Catalog and Album Directory (self hacked - like a site map, created two files - image_include.php and catalog_include.php and two shtml (SSI) pages. Note: will work as php files too if you can't write shtml pages on your server)
Image Preview (self hacked - displayed under the thumbnails, written in CSS and a few edits to function.inc.php) Works in IE and Firefox, untested in others as yet.
Image Description in a CSS popup (self hacked - http://academyphotos.net/photogallery/album_list.html)
Indexed and organized keyword list on search page by Stramm (Very handy!) - http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=30900.0
A little functionality hack for batch upload by klingsor (Nice! Very nice!) - http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=19747.0
That's about it. Every thing seems to be working ok. Much thanks to the Devs for the hard work in creating Coopermine.

I've been reading the forum a lot tonight and went ahead and upgraded from 1.2.0 to the latest version, then I had a few problems, found the fixes here, then bridged all back up with my forum, had a few more problems which I managed to fix, and then decided to make the gallery and phpbb look the same.
I don't they could be any similiar.

Nice work.

It meight be a weird question, but what would be the maximum number on the total viewed counter in your entire album before it likes start at 0 again.
And does anybody know what's the most viewed CPG on the web?
-
It is a weird question, as it doesn't belong into this thread at all! Respect board rules - post on the proper support board that deals with your version in the future. The hit counter in the database is int(10), so you can have a max number of 9,999,999,999 - that's 10 Billion. I doubt that an individual pic in your gallery can get that many hits. If this is not enough, just change that field in your database to whatever you like.

Site is not related to photography itself, but displays photos. Split from Useful photography sites (http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=10498.msg47473#msg47473) and merged with proper thread. Please post your modifications in a new thread on the support board. A moderator will move it accordingly if applicable.

Hello All,
Just wanting to show off my gallery. http://fordcortina.com.au/gallery (http://fordcortina.com.au/gallery)
It originally started off as a coppermine photo gallery. With time more features were required than was available through coppermine.
Geeklog proved to be a cms which fitted my needs, the bridge was written by TheMike and available here on the coppermine site. Also using several plugins available for the Geeklog CMS, as well as CPM-Fetch for the pictures to show on the Front page. See front page here (http://fordcortina.com.au)
I do still need to fix the style sheet, if i want to have the CPG gallery to show within the geeklog header and footer, but all members are currently happy, so eventually that will get done.
The site proves strong and reliable, i would like to thank TheMike for his time and attention to complete the Coppermine - Geeklog Bridge.
Also thank you to the coppermine team for help on little problems when i was first setting up the CPG site.
;D

I worked on uploading an organizing my library for almost a year and now the magazines love it! Many of my aviation clients are using at as a private stock agency instead of dealing with Corbis or GettyNearly 4000 images later, the database is more than proving its worth.

(I reset the counters monthly.)
Admittantly, the site is VERY NWS (Not Work Safe). It's also private. I use it primarily for managing uploaded doujins.
About 98% of my traffic is hotlinking, which is what I intended it for. See, I only wanted the images to be hotlinked on another forum, so any hotlinking NOT from that forum gets an error message.

Hello, iam from Germany. My English is very bad but the German-Coppermine Forum is like a Spam-Forum, so i want publish my site here *sorry*
I had many Music-Communitys before i use Coppermine, but with Coppermine it is the best ever. Your can look at my Music-Community Click Here for DJ Delirious´ Music-Page (http://www.dj-vibes.de/music/index.php)
Please write some Feedback when you want.. ;)
Thank your all!!

but the German-Coppermine Forum is like a Spam-Forum, so i want publish my site here *sorry*
Just as a clarification to others: Delirious probably wasn't refering to the German support board on coppermine-gallery.net (http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?board=67.0) (as we pay very much attention to board spam). Instead, he probably refered to the unofficial board coppermine-gallery.de (http://coppermine-gallery.de/), which appears to be abandoned.
@ DJ Delirious: this is a show-off thread, please don't start discussions on unrelated stuff (like rumours on spam-infested third-party pages). This thread is meant to allow you to say hi and dump a link to your coppermine-driven gallery.
@all: it's my privilege as moderator to be allowed to post an off-topic rant here. Please don't confuse this with an invitation to clutter this thread with a discussion about the above mentioned German support board. Thank you ;).

As a free community for artists, our website uses Coppermine's private galleries extensively. We just developed a neat feature that allows members to style their own galleries however they want. There's actually a contest going on right now for the best style. Here are some of the shared styles developed by users that you can preview through Coppermine: http://www.foundmyself.com/styles/

Hein,
Then stop making people believe that is is a *legal requirement*. Is it GPL or not?
Additionally there *always* have been a reference to Coppermine on the site (which is accessible on every page by clicking on Legal Notices).
I am very respectfull and gratefull to the Coppermine Dev' Team and especially to the initator of the project Gregory Demar and its successor Joachim Mueller. I have already showed that in other posts.
I do not claim to have coded the Coppermine section of the site neither I try to misslead the visitors.
I did that only for design reasons and I believe that visitors who are coming to look at pictures don't give a .... of which php files are used to display my images (for the same reason I don't put a watermark or copyright notice on the pictures).

Then stop making people believe that is is a *legal requirement*. Is it GPL or not?
It is a legal requirement. The GNU GPL doesn't say otherwise. The GPL doesn't say that you can do anything you please with a software that is released under GNU GPL. It allows to make a tag like the "Powered by Coppermine" mandatory. We discussed this with OSI and FSF members already. Unless you're an expert or copyright lawyer I suggest not to interpret the GPL as you see fit.
I am very respectfull and gratefull to the Coppermine Dev' Team and especially to the initator of the project Gregory Demar and its successor Joachim Mueller.
Then I suggest showing your respect by respecting the wish of Gregory Démar to leave the footer intact. Not too much to ask imo, leaving all legal discussion aside.
[ironic]Very sad that you brought this subject in such a subject....does this follow the posting best practices?[/ironic]
Yes, in the thread "Share your galleries (http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=22690.680)", such a discussion doesn't belong. There are many threads already (like the one Hein has refered to) that discuss the license issue. However, it's justified to remind you of the Coppermine tag being a requirement both in legal as well in ethical terms. Hein asked you nicely to respect this. It was you who started an argument. I really would like to split this discussion though from the "Share your galleries" thread, however I don't want people who dispute the need to keep the tag to believe that we shy away from the discussion - that's why I won't move this discussion from this thread.
Every now and then there are people who keep on discussing this issue, and all those debates that usually start in a friendly manner soon end up in a flame war. There is even a third party site (who's webmaster actually resells Coppermine with his own footer replacing the original one and constantly flaming the coppermine dev team on his site). I'm really fed up having to repeat this discussion over and over. Why don't you leave all legal aspects aside and read between the lines, as all free software licences are meant to be understood: there are people who spend a lot of time and effort to create an application - in the first place for their own use. Then they decide to share their work with others and release the software under a free software license (be it GPL or one of the other flavors approved by the OSI), not making their minds up too much over such lame things as copyright details. The bottom line is: they did the works, so they deserve the right to decide what happens with their software. In a next stage, some people come along, download their free copy and spend a very small amount of time (compared to the huge amount of time the original developers and the community around the application have spent to build the app in the first place) to customize the free app and then decide that they deserve the right to change the software in a way that was never intended by the original developers. They tend to hide behind formal and legal arguments, but actually they just behave selfish imo. This is just lame: we're coders, not lawyers. We like sharing our work with others. We do not like having to justify and explain our intentions. In an ideal world, people like you who do something with the app that was not intended would at least undo their "unwanted" changes after having been told so in a calml and friendly manner.
I ask you to stop this argument now and instead restore the credits as they were meant to be kept. If you decide not to do so, then I ask you to stop this argument anyway. If you still decide to continue this discussion, I will split the entire discussion from this thread and move it into a new thread, not for the sake of muting someone who disagrees with our point of view, but simply for keeping this thread in a way that it was designed for.

I was really excited about your application, and was going to link to it from the Coppermine group that I created, but then I saw that you have removed all credit that belonged to Coppermine. You deliberately hid the footer where the Powered by line should be, and instead it reads: Photographers application İ 2007 and the link goes to your site. For someone claiming copyright, it would be nice if you respected others' intellectual property.
Even your About this Application makes no reference to Coppermine.

Hello all,
I recently had my gallery modded up and the layout improved. The work was done by one of the guys here. He did a great job and I just wanted to share the changes. I am really happy with the result. Here is the new layout for the image display screen: http://asingularcreation.com/Gallery/displayimage.php?pos=-3308

First of all, I want to thank and congratulate to the whole team on terrific, highly functional, reliable software and possibility to use it for free.
Second, few weeks ago I created a gallery of amateur photos from all over the world (they are mine, my friends' and all the people who think that their photos are good enough to be on the Internet).
I added Stram's mod for watermarking.
Site is www.superfotke.com (http://www.superfotke.com).
I plan to soon dress it in Joomla to increase it's functionality not covered by Coppermine (forum - SMF, news, etc.).
Please stop by and comment it, I would be glad to read and consider them.
Best regards,
Zoran

It's so easy to read a Code inside a page, be fairplay inside your frameset: "getoutofthissourcecodebastard"

A very lame effort to keep absolute newbies from "stealing" HTML output (although there is nothing to steal, since both coppermine as well as the theme used is available for free on our page). Actual link to Pietje's gallery (without the lame frame wrapper) is http://pietje8501.987mb.com/ ;D

You have removed the "Powered by Coppermine" footer altough the license add-on that coppermine comes with (http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/docs/index.htm#copyright_additional_preservation) says you mustn't, so you're running an illegal copy of coppermine. Restore the footer immediately.

Still under slight construction (need to place some content in the left side and some more information on the pages, as my visitors start using it). Have placed the script in a wrapper, designed in few hours (I dislike default looks) and would love getting there tons of images from people who travel and got some pics from there. No personal pics, just "sightseeing". Had this idea yesterday and now it's up .. let's see how this works :)

I just created a new gallery for friends (or anyone else) who need a simple place to put images to show in forums or auctions. Here's the addy:
www.okshowpics.com/free
it's nothing special, just a normal template and stramm's modpack with a few other small things
-
I just started using Coppermine for a new site I am working on. I am using the Sosuechtig.de template as a base. I sure wish I knew more about coding, but I make do with my cut and paste web development ;)
My gallery is at http://stampcatalog.org
Feedback is appreciated.

I just switched from SMF to pphpBB 3.0.2 and I'm using the prosilver theme. I tried to find the same theme for coppermine , but was not able to find it anywhere, so one of my moderators, who is also part of the styles team of phpBB, made the prosilver port for coppermine that I use in my website. Hel also added the lightbox2 (http://www.huddletogether.com/projects/lightbox2/) script when loading the full images and I think it looks really nice.
Here is my Coppermine Gallery with the Prosilver theme.

Hi, I'm really glad I looked at this forum - it's so interesting what themes people come up with for their sites :)
The CPG that I work on (it's not perfect yet, only a few months old...) is for the ABC Doll Club (http://www.abcdoll.org/gallery).
I've modified the theme from the default theme to suit the rest of the site which also includes a SMF package.

Hi,
I stumbled upon coppermine gallery almost one year ago.
This is what I got so far.

modified powerbook g4 theme

My CPG is located at www.viewing-globe.com
It's a Power Rangers image gallery, which was originally conceived as a little side-note, just somewhere to dump all the unused or spare pictures I wasn't using. It's grown and grown in the last five years, and now well over 121,000 picutres in over 340 albums, with an amazing 2872531 picture views.
It's sometimes hard to keep an eye on quality control, in order to prevent blurry or distorted screencaps getting through. I think I'm managing it so far, for the most part.

Your Gallery is <!--Coppermine Photo Gallery 1.4.17 (stable)-->

For those of your interested in interior design ideas, you might want to take a look at the site of Sean McConnell. He uses Trompe Loeil to create atmospheric spaces that are really striking. This post is put here on behalf of Sean and I hope you enjoy the work.
mural artist (http://www.envirooments.com) :'(
-
Mr McConnell is not using Coppermine as a photo gallery. This thread is meant for people who run a gallery powered by coppermine. It is not meant to be a place where you can drop links to all kinds of galleries. The reason for the existence of this thread is that people who haven't made up their mind yet if coppermine is the right product for them get the opportunity to see coppermine "in action" on other user's pages. Therefor, your posting is invalid. I didn't delete it, as it's not just a board spammer's advert, but points to a real site of art. But anyway: both to Fahrenheit1 as well as everybody else I wanted to point out what this thread is meant to be used for. Don't abuse it for unrelated stuff, even if you have a beautiful gallery that is being run with another product.

Well I would just like to add my thanks to those who develop coppermine, the prosilver theme and the bridging for phpbb3.
My phpbb3 forum and coppermine gallery has come together really well over the last few days (IMHO). It's given me everything I wanted/needed, and my users are about to start playing with their new coppermine gallery toy tonight.
Changing/editing the themes graphics etc was easy, and apart from a few newbie errors, the bridging and permissions came together well.
My gallery can be found via http://photohospital.co.uk/forums
-
Like Chris above me, I want to add my kudos to the development team. I'm using Coppermine for three different personal sites and am overall pleased with it. Like anything though, I do have a couple of small issues with the program, but they aren't major.
I'm currently using Coppermine to catalog my coin and banknote collection:
League Of Nations (http://www.leagueofnations.net)
...to catalog coin varieties and errors from the above site:
Variety Fair (http://www.varietyfair.net)
...and to organize my Cockatiel collection ;D:
Flock Of Ages (http://www.flockofages.net)
Thanks again,

Smoke, you have a realy nice site! ;)
I realy like the pictures in the background. How do you do that? Can I do the same with the Eyeball theme or any other?
Can I get your theme? Can I buy it?

Hi.
Hi everybody.

-
@pznet. Keep an eye on this site.. 1.4.23 is coming soon and you badly need to update. <!--Coppermine Photo Gallery 1.4.16 (stable)--> is not a good idea to be using.
-
hello :D
if you like look at my gallery at http://www.andmore.at/cpg14x/index.php (http://www.andmore.at/cpg14x/index.php)
now i have pictures (very nice wallpapers !), funny classic 3d-animation short-clips (avi, wmv, mpg) and selfmade music (mp3's and videos).
i'm "a little bit proud" of it and it would be very nice for me to have new visitors to my website.
take a look and thank you for your visit !
P.S.: there's one flv-file, that does not work at this time - but i'm trying to fix it.

Some nice stuff there.
Please always post "Not suitable for work" on galleries even with soft nudity. Some employers have very strict policies and we wouldn't want anyone getting into trouble after viewing your gallery.
-
...as per board rules
8. Post links
When posting a support request, it's helpfull for supporters in most cases to see what the actual page looks like, that's why it's recommended that you always post a link to your coppermine gallery page when asking for support. If your site contains adult content, make sure to post a warning together with your link!
Supporters might get into issues if they accidentally visit a page that interferes with their employer's internet policy. If your site contains adult content (even mild nudity even falls into this category), post the words "not safe for work" next to the link.

I've used Coppermine to create what is quite possibly the most useless gallery on the web: A photo gallery of silica gel packets.
It's here: http://do-not-eat.com (http://do-not-eat.com)
Enjoy. :)
-
is quite possibly the most useless gallery on the web
I totally agree.
-
I find it funny - I guess nobody on this planet has got a similar collection. Just the visual representation is a bit lame - I suggest sending your users from the splash page to http://do-not-eat.com/thumbnails.php?album=1 instead of http://do-not-eat.com/index.php. Otherwise, that's fine.
Joachim
P.S. In your gallery's footer, you have various translations for the words "do not eat": the German translation would be Nicht schlucken
instead of Nichtschucken
-
Thank you for the tips. :)
-
Wow there are definitely some nice ones here. Bravo everyone!

Hallo everyone ;D

Just wanna show the photos I'm taking in Rome, during the
13 th FINA WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS
ROME (ITA)
It's all here:
http://www.tripodart.net/website/gal/index.php?cat=54 (http://www.tripodart.net/website/gal/index.php?cat=54)
I'm using stramm's mod to sell images on-line and implemented a random using mini csm and cpgfetch by vuduu.
I hope version 1.5 comes out soon to implement SEO over my photostock.
If you have any suggestions or questions send me a msg!
ENJOY! ;D

Here is my gallery http://www.digipaul.com/album/ (http://www.digipaul.com/album/)
Includes many different photoseries. Most popular series seems to be my Chernobyl pictures (http://www.digipaul.com/album/thumbnails.php?album=38 (http://www.digipaul.com/album/thumbnails.php?album=38)). I was there couple years ago and it was a amazing place to see what happen if there is no anymore any people living in the city (about 60.000 people city just empty).
My friends and I were also in The New York Times magazine after that trip :)
Othervice about my pics... I like take pics from people and animals so on gallery has many of them :)
You can share my gallery link to your friends etc. if you like.

Some nice pics of places I know well there. But is Berkhampstead Castle all you could come up with for Hertfordshire?
In the last 3 or 4 years I have visited over 92 different places from numerous castles to the Devils Ar$e cave in Derbyshire and so far Berkhampstead Castle is the only place I have visited in Hertfordshire! As and when I visit more/other places in Hertfordshire I shall add them to my site!
I've been to a few placed in Lincolnshire today:

Hi everyone. I set up a gallery for my village website at www.southcroxton.co.uk/gallery (http://www.southcroxton.co.uk/gallery) and would be pleased for any feedback.
Found this forum after a google search for a particular problem (now solved) and look forward to seeing what everyone has been able to create. I'm sure that I'll pick up a few good ideas along the way and hopefully can give a few ideas back in return.

Hi Everyone,
Came over to read about "Image Magick" still not quite sure what to do yet.
B2evo and WP Blogs and phpbb3 boards are ok this photo stuff is all new to me.
Anyway I was looking for a place to post at least a hey since I registered and all.
Hooked up with you guys on twitter actually that was the first contact I had with you.
This is the site I'm trying to figure out for my daughter Cait Hagar, Game Girl Racing Gallery (http://caithagar.com)

I am using coppermine on this gallery for some years, and now i just redesigned the gallery theme, added a wp blog and implemented some new features.
This a share link post but at the same time it's a appreciation to the community that supports the gallery, despite you guys didn't noticed you have been a great help on this, most of the questions i had were already answered in the forums.
It's a Portuguese Street Art Gallery hope you enjoy it :)

Are there any galleries where you can see the new features of 1.5?
-
No. Cpg1.5.x hasn't been released yet, so the number of galleries is small and actually limited to the non-public testbeds of the testers and devs. The support for cpg1.5.x hasn't started neither, so please don't ask questions about it yet. Thanks.

Is still not finished, probably will never be ;D, but i want to show to the others the result. When i start using coppermine my first expression been "uhhhh this gallery look as phpbb2 forum" but after a while when i see how easy is to customise i become really surprised. Today im happy with my gallery and i think to continue to us this wonderfull gallery script in futurе.

Merry Christmas all

Actual URL is http://www.jdmgallery.com/Gallery/ - there's no sense sending people to a wrapping page constuct that doesn't contain anything but an iframe with the actual gallery.

Coppermine 1.5x series, working on a new theme layout based off classic but darker (I named the theme "carbon"). Mostly got the theme in working order with just some minor issues to iron out like navigation of the "multiple pages", maybe change some background stuff yet and the header as I am not happy with it. One I get the theme done I post the modifications as it has taken some major cleanup of the existing theme style (css) and themeing code (various php files).

There are no any photos in your gallery. Looks like a spam ;D

You are looking at a thread that has been started 7 years ago. It's quite understandable that some of the older links go down after such a long time. This is not related to spam at all - the gallery the poster has refered to just doesn't exist any longer. Look at the most recent links first...
