You could try to rename the file folder(s) so that Coppermine won't find them.
Or, copy the folder using your cPanel and then try the rename (better).
Or, proceed only with a backup copy (best).

I installed a new copy of the latest Coppermine on a new hosting acoount.
Im using the same file size info as in my previous install.
When i try to upload a photo, i get the following:

PXL_20240127_191103481[1].jpg
File is larger than max size allowed

I had this file on my previous site with no issues

MySQLi said: 1040 : Too many connections

How do i fix this?

Thanks...Joe

Is it possible to delete an album but keep the pictures (because of referrals)?

I know the chances are slim, but by any chance is someone still looking at this? I have a couple of issues with it you see. It doesn't seem to display things in the thumbnail view very well.

Some behaviors confirmed on my host with PHP 8.0.30 enabled. (released  December 7 )

PHP 8.1.26 appears to work without issue. (released on the same date)

Use your cPanel, if available, to change the version of PHP running your Coppermine 1.6.25.

Note that some of the items on the list were not verified.

The past few days, I have noticed that my coppermine installation (1.6.25) has been acting up - mainly when making new albums & uploading photos (batch-add). I haven't had any issues until Dec. 22, 2023
  • Preview thumbnail not showing in batch add
  • *Browsable interface empty when click "... up one level"
  • *(New) Album stuck on loading (after clicking "ok")
  • *Slow/stuck loading between "List of new files" page and "Edit Files" page(s)

* = Issue is usually fixed by exiting/refreshing page, but this becomes tedious and you lose your place/work.

Hi,

thank you for the info and sorry for me replying late - I was off for a couple of days.

I don't need the plugin as the gallery mainly serves as a photo repository for my forum, so I'll uninstall it (will create a backup copy of the cpg tree on my server before to be on the safe side.

Thanks Ron, I wish you too. The error is fixed and it's good.
The only thing that annoys me is that most of the modules simply won't be adjusted in the next version.
We at YaBB forums always do this. So it wasn't particularly difficult for me to find the error once I narrowed it down.
It is always important to adapt the modules, otherwise it will die at some point. Look at Piwigo, they always do that.

Happy Holidays.
