Title: Firefox Question
Post by: nontekkyguy on January 17, 2009, 01:55:08 am
I posted a question about flv files in another thread, but this pertains to that same site. I placed several .mpg and a few .wmv files on my friend's site. As I was testing the videos in various browsers, I noticed that a firefox plugin called download helper was able to grab the entire videos. Has anyone else had this happen. Is there a way to prevent this or do I not having thing to worry about.

If you don't want people to have the videos don't put them online.

In other words, they can be downloaded. Hmm interesting.
I will set it up so they have to register, but the vids are still downloadable is what you are saying.
interesting

The term 'downloadable' is misleading. Everything you can see on your computer screen or hear on your speakers is *already on your computer*. You cannot block that - it's the nature of the Internet.
