Title: Problems with login
Post by: Saku on August 24, 2007, 11:38:21 am
Well, I must say I'm Spanish, so my English isn't very good.

I've created a Coppermine Gallery on Lycos Tripod. The link is

http://usuarios.lycos.es/capitaledelumiere/galerie/

When I try to login, I put my name and password and the gallery says me 'Bienvenido Saku' [Welcome Saku], but then, I'm not logged in.

Moreover, up there are two error messages:

Warning: ini_set() has been disabled for security reasons in /data/members/free/tripod/es/c/a/p/capitaledelumiere/htdocs/galerie/include/debugger.inc.php on line 46

Warning: ini_set() has been disabled for security reasons in /data/members/free/tripod/es/c/a/p/capitaledelumiere/htdocs/galerie/include/debugger.inc.php on line 47

How can I solve this?

Thanks in advance!! =)

Using the Search function and searching with "Warning: ini_set() has been disabled for security reasons" gives me several threads dealing with this problem.

Like : http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=39849.0 (http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=39849.0)
or
http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=26794.0 (http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=26794.0)

Edit as suggested in those two threads and you should be fine.

For the benefit of others with similar issues you could have posted what you did to solve your troubles. That's the point of a support board. Marking thread as "solved" anyway.

Well...

In the 'include' folder of the Coppermine gallery, I've opened debugger.inc.php and I've changed this

Code: [Select]
define('CAN_MOD_INI', !ereg('ini_set', ini_get('disable_functions')));
to this

Code: [Select]
define('CAN_MOD_INI', false);

Do you know what that piece of code does?

No, I don't. I'm not an expert in this things. I usually use HTML. PHP is new for me

Reading this thread linked from another....
So, are you going to tell us?

It modifies the PHP configuration by runtime and will only work if you actually have the privileges to do so. Removing / replacing the line as you did will only doctor the symptoms, but it will not cure your initial misconfiguration.

Hi
I am swiss and can hardly English, and had to translate it!
with the following: http://davidtennantfan.com/gallery/register.php
whom I give my new email it says: It has been already registered by another user with the specified e-mail address
Now the problem: I've forgotten my password and I will provide my email address, then say: The Selected user does not exist!

What can I do? I have no email received nothing! and I find the good side!
if it sounds a bit weird is it on google translator

Thanks

You shouldn't have tried to hijack someone else's thread. If http://davidtennantfan.com actually is your site, then start a thread of your own, but apparently you're "just" a user who is trying to register on that site, so you better ask the site owner for support, not us. We provide support to site admins who use the script "Coppermine Photo Gallery" on their sites. We do not support end users, i.e. visitors of sites that use Coppermine.
If you have issues with English, use the French (http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/board,38.0.html), Italian (http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/board,89.0.html) or German (http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/board,67.0.html) sub-boards.
