Hi there,
I'm trying to set up my gallery at http://so-quiet.net/caps
When I try to http upload it works ok (using GD, ImageMagick gave me trouble too), but when I upload my images on FTP and go to the batch add section I get the 'No new file was found' message under the album I choose.
I followed the steps on http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/docs/index.htm#upload_trouble and I've set up an account:
Username: test
Password: test
I believe I'm not missing anything, but if you need more info, please, let me know.
Thanks in advance for your help :)

http upload works for me as expected in a user album http://so-quiet.net/caps/displayimage.php?pos=-2 (http://so-quiet.net/caps/displayimage.php?pos=-2)

Hi Franktz,
Thanks for your prompt reply. I might have not expressed myself correctly, http upload works fine for me too, it's the batch add feature the one that's giving me problems right now. I was wondering if someone could share some ideas on what the problem can be.
Thanks.

without complete error message it would be difficult.
be more explicit: explain the step where the process failed

It's just what I said on my first post, actually. After uploading the images via FTP I go to the control panel, to the Batch Add files section, I select the the album where I uploaded the pics to and I get what shown in the first screencap below. If I click ok I get the error message on second capture. Do you need me to post the Debug info?
-
on the first page, set browsable interface of no (see screen shot)

I get the same 'no new file was found' message :-\
-
are you sure that you have uploaded pictures in your albums folder ?
-
Yeah, I have the ones you could see listed on my first cap. Although I just tried to get the link to one of them and it gives me a 404 page, and it was working less than an hour ago: http://so-quiet.net/caps/albums/tv/season_one/1x01/normal_ukpromo2-069.jpg
-
actually the link is http://so-quiet.net/caps/albums/tv/lost/season_one/1x01/normal_ukpromo2-069.jpg
The normal_ (as well as the thumb_) prefix is reserved for internal CPG purposes and all files with it get ignored by the system. Rename your images to something different and all should be good.

Thank you so much! I knew it had to be something really stupid I haven't paid attention to.
It works perfectly now. Thanks a lot for your help. You can mark this thread as solved now :)
