This plug-in really is great, but - it seems it can't handle a non-image file in the gallery. I added an MP4 file and it causes the stream display to crash. It crashes because when trying to retrieve the EXIF data to check for orientation the exif function fails and doesn't return an array. Also, although the next problem doesn't cause a crash it's unable to display a thumbnail when building the page (I'm guessing because a video file doesn't have a thumbnail?)
I've fixed this by checking that the exif data returned is actually an array, and skipping if it's not. Also also hard-coding a check for MP4 filetype when building the thumbnails and have it use the 'thumb_movie.png' file instead. It works, but my PHP is limited so it's very much a botch.

Just solved. A research on "Call to undefined function ctype_alpha()" indicates that "php-ctype" extension for PHP is missing. This extension is not installed by default. when installing PHP8.2. Sorry for "Dérangement". Maybe this can nevertheless be useful to know when using php8.2.

Hello,
I just upgraded my coppermine gallery from 1.5.48 to 1.6.26 . This was necessary after an upgrade of sql to 8.2. So I kept the data tables in the database and did ../update.php after copying the files of 1.6.26 to the previous coppermine web server hierarchy. There seem to be compatibility since tables were managed by a previous version of he error message : Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function ctype_alpha() in /var/www/html/magallerie/include/inspekt.php:475 Stack trace: #0 /var/www/html/magallerie/include/inspekt/cage.php(287): Inspekt::isAlpha() #1 /var/www/html/magallerie/thumbnails.php(60): Inspekt_Cage->testAlpha() #2 {main} thrown in /var/www/html/magallerie/include/inspekt.php on line 475 There seem to miss some generic file : is ctype_alpha() a generic function...... Maybe I missed some information on upgrading ? Thanks for your ideas. BM |

Well the folder in the coppermine admin panel (Config) must should be https
Are you using a custom theme, because that might have urls hard coded in it. |

No, the only place where i have change it is on the admin page (General Parameters), URL to your Gallery and url to your Homepage, but that did not resolved the problem so i set back to http.
Do i need to change it into the config.php file only? Thanks for your help. |
