coppermine location: http://www.i-am-that-i-am-art.com/flrouiedscv3
I moved the database over to my new server a few weeks ago, and all seemed well, but I am now having problems when trying to delete or move files from one album to another.
I initially got "cannot write" errors so I gave all of the images in /albums/userpics/10001/ 775 permissions - this at least allowed me to delete the files I wanted to , but gave me this error: Warning: is_file(): Stat failed for albums/userpics/10001/puzzles11.jpg (errno=13 - Permission denied) in /home/basetho1/public_html/i-am-that-i-am/flrouiedscv3/delete.php on line 105
Now thumbs and images are not showing up - I just get question marks in the image boxes - please help!?
I updated the database (in admin tools) which I guess is what did it for the images - they're still there, how can I get coppermine to see them without having to start again - there are some 250 images and we'll named and captioned almost all of them, so that'd be a lot of work to redo it all.
I reverted the files in this folder: /albums/userpics/10001/ to 644 but the thumbs still don't show. Some do, but most don't! (Most thumbs are located here: /albums/userpics/10001/ [which is where I think the problem lies] and others are located here: /albums/batchupload/).
I realize there's not much anyone can do without admin priviliges, but I'd rather pm the info so to someone who might help than post here.
thanks in advance!

hard to tell with your gallery set offline. You should update to cpg1.3.5 at least, or better still to the most recent stable version (currently cpg1.4.3)
-
another reason is that the file owner /group's wrong.. man chown for more details (most possible after a move)
-
sorry, gallery is now up.
"another reason is that the file owner /group's wrong.. man chown for more details (most possible after a move)"
man chown? don't know what that is. I have ftp access where I can change permissions -

I recommend to ask your host to fix this if you never heared about chown and don't know how to change permissions. For the tech guys it's a matter of minutes
-
k will do, they're pretty good like that - can oyu tell me what I need to ask them to do?
thanks

don't post debug_output unless requested. Just show the techs of your webhost a link to this thread they should know what to do.
-
k sorry, just trying to offer info that would help. I'll pass this thread onyo my hosts.

hosts solved the prob - thanks everyone
