is theur a way to do that ????
its to difficult for my level of php ;-)))))
-
yes, it would be great.
I've uploaded old pictures and the order is now completely different.
It would be nice to add sorting by exif date or something like that.

Totally agree this is a must-have feature. I was using Gallery until about 2 weeks ago and moved my pics to Coppermine. I love the app (especially the integration with e107), but I find it frustrating that EXIF data is not read into a DB table. The key data is the date of when a photo was taken and have that as a sort criteria.
If and when this feature makes a release of Coppermine, someone needs to write a routine to import this data for existing photos (a one time import or refresh).
Otherwise, this product rocks!

Reading EXIF data and putting it into the table has already been done and committed to the devel in CVS
-
So sorting the photos (uploaded with the mass upload function) by EXIF date instead of upload date will be
possible in the near future?
-
Definitely need this NOW :-)
otherwise great!

Any news about this?

this has already been answered: the feature you're requesting has been added to the cvs, meaning it will be in the next version of coppermine. If you don't want to wait for a release, you're free to check out the devel version, but you have to understand that it comes without support at all.
