Title: cpg 1.4.3 and phpBB 2.0.19?
Post by: sah62 on December 31, 2005, 02:40:04 pm
phpBB 2.0.19 has just been released.  Has anyone confirmed that cpg 1.4.3 works well with it using the 2.0.18 settings?

I set up coppermine on my dev server and got the bridge working without a hitch using PHPBB 2.0.17. However, I went to go live with it on my main server (which is PHPBB 2.0.19) and the bridge is not working. It asks me to log in (via PHPBB) and after hitting submit it goes back to the coppermine gallery without being logged in. I have double and triple checked the cookie names. Anyone else having this issue?

There are 2 bridge files

1 for phpbb before 2.0.18
1 for phpbb 2.0.18 or better

Make sure you are running the right one.

Still no dice..

I have the following setup:

PHPBB 2.0.19 (installed)
Coppermine 1.4.3

Cookie Prefix: anflforu_phpbb (for both coppermine and phpbb)

Sites located at:

http://www.anflife.com/forums

and

http://www.anflife.com/gallery

Like i said, this worked fine on my dev server, but not here for some reason.

Your cookie path is /forums - it MUST be / for integration to work - check the manual.

ah, thanks! I changed the cookie path on my PHPBB but then I couldn't log in. Had to switch it back to /forums.

I will check PHPBB's site.

when i press log in, on my gallery, i got redir to my forum, and there i log in, and then go back to my gallery, but there i'm not logged in.

Start a new thread with your issue as suggested above. Coppermine works fine with phpbb 2.0.19
