Enable debug mode and set the gallery online. Can't see anything otherwise.

That is the main problem. How can i enter admin part of gallery or anything if i only see that code posted above when opening gallery?

from the source of your page:
<!--Coppermine Photo Gallery 1.4.12 (stable)-->
update to cpg1.4.19 for a start.
Do you have plufgins or mods on your gallery?
-
I have altered design for my gallery? background, icons, logo at the top (header) etc.
how can i spare it from erasing when upgrading to higher version??
-
and please tell me how to upgrade since i've heard you don't like it when it's done over fantastico
-
read the doc http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/docs/index.htm#upgrade (http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/docs/index.htm#upgrade)
-
tnx, but how can i upgrade and not lose design of gallery?
-
it's in the doc. Don't erase and update your theme files
-
The reason (most likely) for you being behind on version is Fantastico. It is not all that fantasico as it says it is. Better to manually manage your cpg instead of through a automated option.
-
it's in the doc. Don't erase and update your theme files
what about themes folder?
-
You can keep the folder and remove any themes you are not using. Make sure your custom theme has it's own unique name so as not to be overwritten by the new files.
-
i didnt make my custom theme (my designer, that is now not avalieble)
just for curiousity, if i dont erase themes folder, and theme folder in docs, how can it be overwritten?
-
guys at my hosting firm found out the problem was in cpg_pictures table
now is everything fixed
still im afraid of doing upgrade so i don't loose my design cos my designer doesn't have time to do it one more time
-
if you do exactly as decribe in the docs, there is no risk to loose your desing.
