You should read the documentation from the link at that top of this page, or click here.

where i can find Config page ?
Title: Re: Help

you'll need to install coppermine first. When you're logged in as admin, there will be a link in the admin menu that says "config". This is explained in the docs as well that Dennis refered to.

Did you read the documentation? You need your own website (i.e. you'll need a webhosting contract) that meets the minimum requirements (PHP, mySQL, GD or IM) to be able to have coppermine. If you have no idea what webhosting is or how to run your own website I recommend going for less right now and finding out about hosting your images at flickr or similar, or posting what you'd like to accomplish instead of asking how the software works.

READ THE DOCUMENTATION as suggested. If you don't understand it, ask your webhost for support, or post an actual question here instead of some general "Who's going to help me" type of question. It's mandatory that you find out some basic things (i.e. how webhosting works etc.) on your own - you wouldn't be able to run and maintain the site if you're not willing to do so. If this is too complicated for you, or you're not willing to do some reading (trying to figure out basic stuff on your own), then coppermine simply isn't meant for you - there are many services available on the internet for free that will host your pictures like flickr.

i told you befor i read 10 times but i don`t understand i`m arabic i can`t understand everything
Title: Re: Help

OK, I'm sorry that you don't understand it, but what am I suppossed to do about that? Send me $500 and I'll read it over the phone to you ;). Look, I'm sorry if your English isn't good enough, but I don't speak Arabic, so what do you expect me to do except quoting from the docs? If you're more into visual things, you could take a look at the tutorial (http://coppermine-gallery.net/tutorial/) section:
Quote
Download, unpack, upload (http://coppermine-gallery.net/tutorial/download.php)
Flash tutorial that demonstrates how to download the coppermine package, unpack it and upload to your webserver, and how to set permissions appropriately.
. If you still don't understand, do as suggested and get help from someone who speaks English as well as your language. Or go for webhosting that offers coppermine pre-installed.
If you want me to help, then come up with an actual question, as your question
ok just tell me where i need to Installation and Setup ?
simply doesn't apply - you install coppermine on your webserver, where else? After all, it's a web photo gallery - what do you expect?

I already suggested that...

that say :i have to click on it and after that i have click on Local Disk c and click on Documents and Settings and after that i have to click Locl Windos and i don`t have that on my computer what to do then ?
Title: Re: Help
Post by: Joachim Müller on November 04, 2005, 04:32:37 pm
erm, click on what? What do you mean by "it"? As I suggested above: if you don't understand the tutorial, then coppermine is not meant for you. You need to improve your overall computer skills first. There's nothing that can be done about this. Don't use coppermine. Host your pics somewhere else, e.g. at flickr (http://www.flickr.com/). Honestly, I'm not trying to treat you impatiently or rude, but if you're already stuck in the very first, basic step of downloading and unzipping the package I'm really convinced that you should find another solution to let others see your pictures.

After going through all your posts i would say you need someone to buy you a domain, hosting account, settting up the hosting account, installing coppermine and explaining you how coppermine works. You will need to hire someone to do all this for you.

as Abbas Ali said, you must dowload the latest stable version of coppermine:
This is the link to download latest stable version of coppermine
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/coppermine/cpg1.3.5.zip?download
 (http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/coppermine/cpg1.3.5.zip?download

To unzip the file, you can use a tool like winzip (not free) or 7-Zip (free) (http://www.7-zip.org/)

Title: Re: Help

OK, enough is enough. You have been told to follow the tutorial I mentioned several times already. You have been told that you need to hire someone to set this all up for you if this is too hard for you. You have been told to use flickr if you're not ready to find stuff on your own. Nobody from the support staff here cares for Sarah Michelle Whatshername and her oh-so-important pics. I find it bizarre that you keep on posting although you have been told to find professional, paid help. One possible conclusion is that you're up for some trolling plot. If this is the case, well then you had your fun. Where's a herring when you need one? Oh yes, here it is: <°)))o><

Stop it, will you >:(!

First a few questions

1. do you already have a website?

2. What's your website address?

3. How do you send files to your website?  FTP?
