Title: Blank page when trying to rotate image
Post by: AppleBag on May 22, 2008, 03:49:30 pm
As the title says, when I click a pic and then try to rotate it +90, the next page that loads is just a blank page. I've done it a few times on different pics to verify. Any ideas anyone?

thanks :)

Has been asked and answered often already - in the future, please search before posting: this may happen if the image you try to rotate is to big in terms of dimensions for your server-sided settings (webserver restrictions, not coppermine-restrictions). Don't rotate on the server, but on the client before uploading if server-sided rotation doesn't work for you.

Do you know offhand which server setting to alter to make this work on large pictures, for IIS7?

The same stuff that needs to be taken into account when uploading, see http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/topic,24088.0.html

I don't agree. I have the same problem ... with some pictures. Is no connected with their size in kB or in pixels. Sometime bigger could be rotated and some smaller couldn't.
Really small always could be rotate, but biggers then 200 kb sometime do and sometimes don't.

I wasn't refering to file size, but dimensions. If you have upload issues, start a thread of your own, doing exactly as suggested in the docs, section "asking for support on upload issues". Locking
