Title: Change text on the index-page
Post by: Fly Fort on October 08, 2004, 09:24:32 pm
Hey,

some months ago I found a way to alter the text on the index-page.
http://www.militaryaircraftcollection.info/ --> Dbase
Now it says:
Quote
To upload pictures, you must register first, then click "create/order album".
You can't see the result immediately, because I have to approve the pictures first and check all fields.
After approval the picture will be put in the proper folder.
Check the dbase frequently for new pictures.
Upload pictures only if :
- They are of a better quality
- They aren't on the dbase yet
- If the plane has other colours, serial, code or something else
- To find some info about the plane www.scramble.nl/dbmil.htm

Now I want to change this again but I can't find this text anywhere. I've scanned my whole directory with Dreamweaver (searching in the source code) but didn't find anything like it.
So in which php-file and directory do I have to alter this text??

Is it specific to the theme? If you switch themes, do you see the text, still? I could have tried it myself but the use of frames makes it irritatingly hard to troubleshoot. :P

Not that I know of. It had  a text there with the default theme also (I think).

That is the category description for user galleries, not in the source code but in the database. Change it like you would any other category description.
