Getting all new photos on one batch upload page ?
« on: August 23, 2004, 01:19:47 pm »

Hi There

I update my directories on my hosted website quite often usually with something like 1-2 files in a lot of different directories. Would it be possible to get just the new files displayed and then choose albums/categories for those under the batch upload feature ? i am getting quite tired of going back and forwards for every directory every time.

If you are only doing 1-2 at a time, or even up to 10, which are going into different albums/cats, then it would be better to upload by using the html upload link, imho.

Well, usually it might be, but i am using some custom software to keep the directory synchronised with a local copy i have......so i don't use the web upload at all, it's way to much work
with the rate of updating i do.

Any ideas folks ? this can't be a problem for me only. do you guys really use the batch upload and then go into the album that you want to update and then go back again and into the next album ? i would have to spend like 1 hour a day just doing this quite tidious task.
