Is a statistic like Total Views for each album or category available in cpg?

I would like to know if there is a way to make a "total views" statistic available either in the main page (ie next to the number of albums and pictures of each category), either inside every category for every album (how many views each album has).

I tried several searches in the forum but couldn't find anything directly related to this. Could you please assist?

edit: I have v1.2, but I can upgrade if this can only be done in 1.3.

has been reported before, but afaik, nobody has come up with a hack yet, sorry.
