IPB 1.3 and Copermine 1.31.
« on: August 11, 2004, 07:45:20 am »

I havent done this yet, but I am curious.  Is it possible to intergrate the two and if so can it be done with a board that is already up and running granted it only has a few members, but the gallery has over 800+ would that work?  Would it be hard and if it is hard who can do it?

Thanks,
Jack

yes!

all members in the coppermine user table would be lost, including the coordination between user name and user gallery.

Would it be hard [...] ?
Would be a lot of work (manually hacking the database) to convert all users who exist in coppermine to the board. With 800x users not recommended.

[...] and if it is hard who can do it
you!

You can however experiment with integration, since it can be turned on and off at any time, existing data in the coppermine database won't get lost.

the mod you mention changes coppermine core code and is reported to result in various issues. Using it is not recommended at all, and there's no support on this board for users running the invisonize hack.

just a little side-note: the mod has to be reinstalled after every coppermine-update, so its a bit of work to be up to date  :-\\
