Cannot Delete Duplicate Audio Files

We're running v1.3.1
Some duplicate audio files were uploaded to our image gallery.  The files are .wav format.
Some of the files have "illegal" characters in them (spaces mostly), as I dicovered in this THREAD
These duplicate files show a filesize of 0kb.
When I attempt to delete them, I get a CPG error that states "There was an error while processing a database query "
How do I go about deleting these files?

enable debug mode in coppermine config and try to delete them once more. You should get an advanced error message that tells what query actually failed. Please post it here.
