upgrading coppermine with hopes of rotating images
« on: August 01, 2004, 06:37:10 am »

Hello, all...

I want to upgrade my version of Coppermine (primarily because I really want the ability to rotate images once they are imported--is there an easier way to do this?). Does this mean downloading the new version and FTPing it to my server? I'm worrying that it will overwrite my existing albums.

no, to upgrade you replace the code files, but not the albums folder. This is all in the documentation that comes with coppermine: http://coppermine.sourceforge.net/manual.php#13
