Is it possible to reorder files (images) within the albums.
I do not want to sort by time or date, I want to manually order the images based on the content of a photo.

e.g.
If I have photos at a party, I want to order the images so photos taken at the start of the party are listed first whilst the photos taken at the end of the night are displayed towards the end.

I am curious about this myself.  Is there a way to reorder pics in the album.  Also to add to this is there a way to reorder albums within a category.

Found the way to reorder albums but what about actual photos.

take a look at the mods board, there is a mod called "advanced sorting" or so that was made for cpg1.2.1 - you might have to adjust it to make it work with cpg1.3.x though.

I've been looking for exactly the same thing.  You can reorder categories, and you can reorder albums, but you can't reorder pictures???

I just set CPG up for my wife and she wants to do 3 things:

1) Upload pictures (OK)
2) Label pictures (OK)
3) Reorder pictures ()

Is this on the list for features in the next version?  Or has anyone been successful in porting the "advanced sorting" mod to the current version of CPG?

is on the todo-list, but not sure if it's going to be in the next version. So far, nobody has come up with a report about a working hack using cpg1.3.x
