Notice: unserialize(): Error at offset 0 of 7
« on: July 23, 2004, 04:55:41 am »

This one has me totally stumped....especially since I can't see the error whereas my users can.
I am getting the following

Notice: unserialize(): Error at offset 0 of 7 bytes in ...ommitted... /bridge/phpbb.inc.php on line 90

Has anyone ever seen this before. Thank You.

Yes, http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=8021.0

Thanx but that thread split and discussed a second potential bug which someone posted a fix for.
My issue from above still exists.

but you noticed what the supporters on the other thread were requesting to know? They wanted a link, a test account and so on. If you want help, you should do as the suporters requested. Even though you've seen what it takes for us to try to help someone, you don't do so. Why do you make life so hard for supporters? I'm fed up to ask the same questions over and over again: if you want help for an issue on your page, you will have to post a link; if the issue deals with login/logout, you will have to provide an account - easy to understand, isn't it (just common sense imo).
Also, don't post on both threads, decide for one - either this one or the other thread.

Apologies if I offended you -- the site is a private intranet site that of course can't be provided to you since you would not be able to access the private network.

As was suggested in the other thread this issue is not specific to the site but more speicific to the client side. Given this, my post was simply a question of solution to that which would or could apply to any cookie settings.

BTW, next time you are offended by a post just ignore it. That seems to work for me ;)
