Do you have access to the servers logs? Those should help point to whatever the issue is. You will need to look at them for the time frame your upload failed.

I tried uploading a photo using flash then checked the "error log" in cpanel. It's blank. I checked everything in file manager that has "log" in the title and nothing is dated after June 2020.

I have the same problem. I haven't changed anything. This happened a few days ago.

Web browser support for flash is rapidly going away. I don't know whether there is something with the flash uploader that could be changed to resolve whatever problem you are having but, at this point, it is doubtful that the dev team will be looking into it. The majority of the dev team had actually not wanted to even include flash upload with CPG 1.6. We're sorry you are having issues, but having to 'fall back' to the HTML5 uploader should certainly be an acceptable alternative.
