« on: July 07, 2004, 10:05:28 am »

Hello,

When i upload a picture from the webftp not by a ftp client, they are always stored in albums/users/10001/

What ?

I've created some directory in albums/ like DIVERS, why when i upload into the category DIVERS by the webftp they are stored into albums/users/10001/ and not albums/DIVERS ??

Thanks for your response..

Uploading via FTP and the web page are two different things. However, categories and albums can be used by either function. If you upload a file through the web page, it'll alway goto your userpics folder.

@can93: I think there's a slight confusion in wording: the http upload that can be used by clicking on "Upload files" in coppermine's menu is not called "webftp" - it is "http upload". Please make sure to use the proper words, don't try to make them up. There are actually applications called "webftp", but they're not related to coppermine at all.
