hi,

since today i upgraded vom 1.3.0 to 1.3.1 .. worked all. i edited my theme , my css file and so on .. in the preferences there are still my settings which i had in 1.3.0 .. fine fine.. now i wanted to send an ecard . hmm the ecard gets sent but the receiver just gets 3 red X's ...means bad link or bad link to the picture.. also i tried the link "click here if the ecard isnt shown correctly" then i come to the root of the mainpage and not to the gallery itself...

perhaps the problem is that my cpg is on another domain instead of being on the site directly. i said in the settings in the line where you say the "final link to see more pics inside the ecard" , there i wrote the link of the normal page, so the people come just normal to the page and not the gallery directly..

anyone knows how to solve this problem ? would like to use the e-card feature in the future...

The url you set in config needs to be the url of your gallery.

don't shout out "bug" so loudly if you're not sure, it's a little bit like shouting "thief" or "liar".
As Nibbler said, the url in config must be the gallery url, not another domain. This hasn't changed from cpg1.3.0 to cpg1.3.1, so I'm rather sure it didn't work with cpg1.3.0 either, if you haven't changed your config.

i dont think it's a good idea that this link of the config will also be used in the ecard itself. imagine someone like me which hosts the gallery on another domain and not on the site itself where the gallery is linked.

i finally found now the answer in my theme.php :

Code: [Select]
<p align="center"><a href="{VIEW_MORE_TGT}"><b>{VIEW_MORE_LNK}</b></a></p>
i just changed
Code: [Select]
{VIEW_MORE_TGT} to my domain link e.g. "http://www.domain.de" . now the link points exactly to the link which i entered there...

There are lot's of places the url from the config that is currently used, not only ecards. You're strongly advised to set it to the proper url your coppermine gallery actually resides at. To avoid confusion in the future, we re-labelled the option in cpg1.4.x (which is still under development) from "Target address for the 'See more pictures' link in e-cards'" to "URL of your coppermine gallery folder" - re-label it in your existing version as well, if you want. I repeat, you must set "Target address for the 'See more pictures' link in e-cards'" to the url your coppermine gallery actually resides on.

like i said, i solved the problem via the theme.php.. i dont think it's a problem when i change the url there.. it's just a variable which i deleted and i wrote directly the URL to my page in it.. in the config of cpg itself there's now the correct link to the gallery.. so everything else is working well..
