Is there an update here? I wanted to start translating myself, I experimented with a few entries in the page, but it fails to update the database when I try to choose my Hebrew translation...

AFAIK yanivz or anyone else hasn't contributed a translation for Hebrew. Please make sure you read the docs that were posted earlier in this thread. If your problem persists please start a new thread as this one is quite old.
