[solved] Problems Logging In
« on: June 30, 2004, 10:48:40 pm »

I just upgraded from 1.2.2 to 1.3 - easy process.

I am using MD5 password encryption.

I modified the files to support MD5 according to the mod here:
http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=2179.0

Now when I login with my admin or any other account - it seems like I am logged in as I can view full size images - however after I login and get the welcome message - it does not have my username next to Login on the main menu.  I also do not get the admin option when I login as administrator.  And I do not get the upload image option when I log in as a user

I cleared my cookies and tried to login again - same problem.

Any ideas?

Jim

by applying mods you always take a risk to run into problems if you upgrade later, especially with mods that manipulate the database as well. The md5 mod comes "as-is", no support for it (as it would mean the supporter would have to set up a cpg1.3.0 install with the md5 hack applied, which is too much to ask imo) - I already tried to make this clear on the thread you're refering to.
