Moving servers..
« on: June 18, 2004, 12:42:06 am »

hey guys.

i need to move my site from one provider to another.
do i just need to do a dump of the db structure and load it up on the new site?
and then upload the file framework as well?

or are there any little things with paths or whatnot that will make this tricky?

cheers.

1. Database dump.

2. Move file structure.

3. Database restore.

4. Edit include/config.inc.php to new settings.

5. Verify operational.

6. Adjust paths as necessary in the Config console. (E-cards target)

7.  Keep old CPG running until comfortable on new server.
