remove thumbnails from the thumbnails page?

Hello, is there anyway to remove thumbnails from the thumbnails page?

I have looked at the thumbnails.php script but I have no idea what to look for to remove thumbnails from and linking fullimage through the whole cell or caption(file name).

 Is there anyway to remove it?

If you remove the thumbnails from the thumbnail view, the page would be empty? Please explain more detailed what you're trying to accomplish.
