Critical Error

I looked all around even on the MySQL page, enless I'm not looking hard enough, but I cant figure how what is going on. Can someone please help me and tell me how I can fix this. Thanks!


Coppermine critical error:
Unable to connect to database !

MySQL said: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/tmp/mysql.sock' (2)

ok weird, now its working, but it was like saying that for an hour straight, and yesturday on and off to.
