1. can i set the amount of uploads for users higher then 5?

2. german translation in admintools: "Übersetze die Engung .jpg und ersetze _ (Unterstrich) mit Leerzeichen"
    Engung=Endung? Der Satz ist etwas schwer zu verstehen (Übersetze die Endung..??)

Yes, in the groups control panel.  Scroll to the right, you will see the boxes.
You can select up to 10.

You're right, the line in german.php should be
