Getting upload notices in Czechoslovakian

OK my gallery is set to English and all other languages are disabled. I get "upozornění na Upload" admin notices in Czechoslovakian. On the up side I've started to learn a new language but I'd much rather just get the notices in English. Did I miss a setting someplace or is it really broken?
