[n/a: cpg1.3.0 support request]: phpBB/CPG1.3.4
« on: May 26, 2004, 06:31:22 pm »

I installed CPG 1.3.4 but have yet to get it to upload. I am near to completing my site and am waiting on CPG. I was not aware that CPG could intergrate with phpBB2(08). How is this done? And how long will it be before CPG will be out of beta state? Is the version i have stable enogh to use now or has there been an update since 1.3.4? Where can i go from here. I would like to have CPG as my photo-Gallery module instead of other options but i need direction.
Please help.
regards,

As always, it's not easy to say how long the beta testing will take, but you can use the 1.2 final version and upgrade to 1.3 when it's out of beta.

use of the 1.3beta4 files for a live site is not recommended.  There have been many changes since the zip was created.
If you can update all the files from the cvs, then you would have what I beleive is a very good app, but use of 1.2.1 is still recommended for live sites until 1.3 is released as stable.

To bridge to phpbb2, read the docs, and make the changes required.  There have been a lot of issues with this bridge, so reading the sticky threads, and searching would also be advised.
