Unable to save settings when changed Theme
« on: November 28, 2008, 10:10:51 pm »

Hello guys,

Does anyone else here faces the same problem?

When I try to change the settings in Config under:   Image view
Width of the table for file display (pixels or %)  the default is 100% as you know but when I try to set this to for example 500  and click on Save Configuration and then go back the settings are still the default 100%, this works ONLy when I select the classic Theme skin then I am able to change the settings and they stay changed. Any help in this matter would be great.

Thank you

Lazy people don't clik on the link usually. But I never see one user asking what to do on a link called "Board rules / Forum policies: Post Links".

Mmm.. Without having special powers I think Joachim is asking you for a link to your site. Don't you? If not, click on it and you'll see Joachim's effort. He didn't point to Board Rules but to the exact point you must read in order to save you time and effort. Could you give something back doing the same? Don't be lazy... If you show to supporters that you do your homework you will get a better answer to your issue...

It could be that you're using a theme that sets these parameters within itself. I have put several themes up here that do exactly that. Can you at least tell us what theme you're using?

Did you read the manual first???? Taking 2 minutes to backup your files can save you hours of wondering what you screwed up.

I've got the same problem; I'm using the 'Antique' theme and it just won't save for non Admins.

Don't try to hijack someone else's ancient thread. Instead, do as suggested per board rules and start a thread of your own that contains a link to your gallery and a link to the announcement thread for the theme you are using.
