about future release

When i have a coppermine photo gallery with 100 users and many many photos, i backup the sql database and images, but possible to port this backups to future releases ? Coppermine Team work to resolve this problem in future releases ?

I'm not sure what you mean here.

The database schema changes with different releases of Coppermine, so if you take your 1.2 backup and restore it onto a 1.3 installation, Coppermine will not work. However, the upgrade scripts will take care of whatever database changes need to be made.
