Hi

For few days I'm looking for solution for my problem. I'd like to change position of categories and albums ( i'm looking for something like in attachment ). Unfortunately I still don't know how to put categories next to album list. What's more I don't know in which files I should search for it. I tried with theme.php but I got no results. In my situation it is possible to set template permanently  ( i can modify any file with next updates ) Any solution?

Can't be accomplished without in-depth core code changes (has been requested often previously, but never has been accomplished afaik). I suggest dropping the idea unles you're an extremely good coder and have a lot time to spend and if you don't care that you won't be able to upgrade in the future.

during the night I get new idea how to solve it. I don't neeed to take main categories from database, they could be added manually in template.html but how to configure coppermine to get at frontpage last added albums only?

Set the 'content of the main page' setting to only include what you want.
