The problem first started today. I proceeded to do an upgrade, hoping that it would indeed fix the error, it didn't. So now I'm here.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The error message doesn't come from coppermine, but from your mysql database - it just shines through in coppermine. As suggested in the error message's text, the mysql database is broken and needs to be repaired, which is something that is beyond the scope of what coppermine can do. Use a third party tool like phpMyAdmin to perform the repair command against the database. If you can't do that (for lack of permissions, skills or whatever), ask your webhost for support, telling them the text of the error message. Not very surprisingly: your question has been asked and answered before, so the reply I just made has been posted many times over. In the future, please search first before starting a thread. And please don't play with buttons that you have no idea of what they do: tagging your thread as "solved" instantly right after posting is not a bright idea if you are actually looking for answers.

Apologies about that. I thought it was an edit button. I was looking to add more detail. It appears there is no edit button though.

Anyway; what do I run the repair in phpMyAdmin against? The pictures table?

You can't repair it in phpMyAdmin. You need to contact your host to get them to fix their MySQL setup. To get your main page back you can disable the 'random files' block in config ('content of the main page' setting).

Its just the fact that there are no pictures (thumbnails) available until my host fixes it?
