direct links instead of upload

Sorry, I used the search but didn't get results.

Is it possible to switch the code so that one can either upload a picture OR put a link to an existing file in the web?
Because I have only limited traffic and many of my users have their pictures already on their website.

No, coppermine cannot display pics by hotlinks to other sites.
