Blank Login screen
« on: February 01, 2009, 03:07:39 pm »

Hello,

I've downloaded the recent version (cpg1419) and successfully installed, but when I click on 'Lets Go' it tales me to a blank login screen.

I've checked through the threads and tried the solutions suggested (changing the include/config.php details, CHMOD the relevant folders&files to 777) but to no avail!

I have checked MySQL and the database is populated with files.

I am hosted with Strato.de and use Filezilla to upload/change permissions.

The link is: http://www.david-hewlett.co.uk/Gallery/cpg1419/login.php

I am a n00b when it comes to SQL/php so any advice you have will be very much appreciated!

Looks like you didn't upload the themes. You need at least the classic theme.

All the themes are there, (from Classic to water_drop) and their respective image folders/CSS/html etc

I am SUCH a n00b!!  :D

Long story, but I was (stupidly) using a mix of Web-FTP and Filezilla to upload and somewhere along the line the files were getting dumped into the cgi.bin instead of the main directory!

Anyway, files have been moved and deleted etc and everything works OK. I am able to login and will steer well clear of Web-FTP in the future!

Thank you for your support. Please consider this request 'solved'.
