I have the same problem. I am not abble to remove the stats. My theme.php file (classic themmes, cpg v 1.4.19 )contains only this row: define('THEME_IS_XHTML10_TRANSITIONAL',1); and if I copy the sample theme.php from Gizmo and paste it into my theme.php, stats are  still displayed. (excuse my weak english)

I'l excuse your english because it aint that bad. But what you need to remember is not to hijack threads. Always start your own.

It wasn´t hijacked there on purpose, may be I made mistake. I would like to answer you only, that athough I act upon Gizmo´s instructions,my stats are  still displayed.  (excuse my weak english)

Reupload the files for the classic theme then.

Without a link to your gallery it's very hard to tell what the issue is. However going back and reading the original thread again, there are two (2) places where you need to apply the fix.

One is for displaying albums under categories ($template_album_list_cat) and the other is for displaying albums that aren't assigned to a category or when viewing on an album list page ($template_album_list).
