Fully-automatic uploading
« on: October 22, 2008, 05:10:32 pm »

Greetings,

I run an FTP that is frequently used by several people (they upload files)
Can I use Coppermine for fully-automatic uploading the following way:

1) People upload files via ftp protocol to various ftp folders (create new folders or upload files to existing ones)
2) Coppermine script scans this, creates albums and assigns recently uploaded files to automatically generated albums

Where each Coppermine album = corresponding ftp folder

?

I know, that default Coppermine functionality does not have this feature
Perhaps, there are add-ons / mods that can help me?
Please, advise!

Thanks for your feedback

AFAIK There is no mod created that make posible what you need.

If you have some money and just if you want this mod, post in Looking for Freelancers / Paid help. But read sub-board rules first.

For the record: I'm not forcing you to pay, just saying that there is no mod to achieve this. So, the oportunities are leaving this undone, or post to offer someone to code this for you.
