copy the configuration/settings from one gallery to new gallery
« on: October 20, 2008, 10:51:57 pm »

Hi, i have a coppermine gallery running on one site, where i post events pictures.

I have another new site where i have installed new coppermine and i use this one to post my personal photographs. I want both the gallery to be identical; settings/configurations wise.

Is there anyway that i can export the settings/configuration from the first gallery to this new one, so that both looks same.

Not built into coppermine. You can use a third-party database manipulation tool like phpMyAdmin to dump coppermine's config table and restore it on the other site, but that's only for very experienced users. I recommend doing this this old-fashioned way: two windows open on your screen and performing regular visual comparison.
