how can you get the users message board post count to change when they leave comments in the coppermine gallery?

is there a mod? or what? I have members that leave a lot of feedback on scrapbook creations and would like to get credit for it by having it add to their post count?

There's no such mod. This would require editing the code of your BBS, not the code of coppermine. Your BBS would have to make additional queries against coppermine's comments table and take that into account when coming up with the stats that display the number of postings.
