So i dont know what im doing wrong and how it should be done.. but heres the deal..

Ive allowed normal users to add pictures to user gallery but as i try to upload picture as normal user it says "Couldnt find any albums that you have right to add pictures in" alsotheres this button "Add albums" but when i press it it says "you have no rights in this page"

So how can i set rights for normal users to add albums to user gallery? i have searched all around settings but i just cant seem to find anything regarding this..

1. Set "Public albums upload" in Groups (groupmgr.php) to Yes
2. Set the Album properties Visitors can upload files *  to Yes

should to the trick

first of all.. i dont want users to be able to upload to public albums.. and second of all i dont want to allowing visitors to upload...?

Did you read the foot note (asterisk!)? Obviously not. Do so now. In fact, please read the docs before asking.

well i did read the docs well not all of them but regarding albums and stuff.. but couldnt find anything..

Visitors doesn't mean "guests". It means "members of the groups that are allowed to upload according to your settings on the groups page". If you do as suggested, guests won't be able to upload. You could have easily tried for yourself instead of nagging here.

i just wanted to know something that i didnt know and didnt find answer to my self.. you are the one that sounds rather hostile id say.. you can read instruction of building a car but it doesnt mean you would be able to do it..
