Batch add - insert files sends me back to batch add

I've been running my Coppermine gallery for months with no problems.

But I went to batch add some files just before - and when it got to the "insert selected files" button, the button just sent me back to the opening batch add files page.

??? What's going on ???

As a matter of fact I can't seem to add anything! I just tried to add an album and it wouldn't work.

No error messages come up.

This is not an actual coppermine install: all files I checked are missing. Upload the missing files.
