[Solved]: After market themes
« on: August 05, 2008, 06:41:52 am »

this question is only about themes that do not come with Coppermine 1.4.18. My embers are having trouble after after the register process logging on with these themes Red Train, Thirteen, Greeflower, Synthetic Blue themes. Does anyone else have this problem. My host it Siteground and they don't have an answer. Also with these thems I can not batch add more than a few dozen files. When I go up into the hundreds it loads but never shows the end of files. I have to go to config and change the theme to one that came with Coppermine.
Thank you for your time

Without my mind-reader hat on: no, I don't have an answer ::). Maybe you could post a link to your gallery and a non-admin test user account ;).

Red Train, Thirteen, Greenflower are themes that I created. I do know RedTrain has some layout issues but I can login as admin and tool around without any problems. I'm currently working on upgrading i-feel-dirty then I'll start on RedTrain. Not sure when I'll get to the other two but will be looking at them in the coming weeks. I will try to get several 100 images to test as the most I've ever done is 50-75.

Keep a look out here or on the theme contribution board for future info.

Did you read the manual first???? Taking 2 minutes to backup your files can save you hours of wondering what you screwed up.

I just don't understand why every question I post here is met with sarcasm (spelling wrong) instead of a straight forward question. This board is as bad for insulting new users to Coppermine as the 4image board. There it got to the point I was afraid to ask a question. I finally dumped it in favor of Coppermine but I am beginning to think that was a mistake also. I appologize if I have offended anyone about the themes they created. Its just the themes I am very fond of and would like to use. I just wanted to know if anyone else has the same problems and if so how did they fix them? I can not be the only one to experience these problems. As a new site half of new members cannot login after registering. I have created my own fake users to test with positive results. Still new members are lost at login.

If you have not experienced these problems or know where I might find an answer please do not reply.

If you do as suggested and post details then several programmers will investigate your issue for you. If you don't then all you can get is idle speculation. Which would you prefer?

Billy I think I fixed all the problems I was having with i-feel-dirty theme. First I deleted everything including Coppermine and started new. This time I limited all my albums to 1000 files. Next I deleted random images and last up in admin. I just batch uploaded 500 plus files without a problem. Users don't seem to have problems now either. It might be my imagination but its running great and very smooth. Thank you for such a wonderful theme. Sorry I seemed like such a head headed bitch but I'm really not. Well not the bitch part. I just wanted to post this in case someone else had the same problems.
