Maximum Upload Size
« on: August 05, 2008, 05:56:17 pm »

I recently had to increase the size of the files I was allowed to upload from 1 Mg to 10 Mg into my albums, wondering how large can I go as in (video size) before Coppermine rejects it.
I have an flv file 301 Mg, should I even bother with this file.

Upload it via FTP.

That's what I've done, the flv file is sitting on our FTP site and I go into the video album and do an upload file, do I have to set the upload permission currently it's set to 10 Mg for photos to higher or it doesn't matter.

Upload limits do not apply when using FTP + batch add.

Thanks for your quick reply and because I'm still learning, normally I upload 1 file at a time and never used batch add file I assume where it says "please select a directory" I insert there the path to the flv file from the FTP site I want to reference then its a matter selecting upload box.

You browse to the folder that contains the file you want to add. Read the manual if you are not sure.
