i login as admin and i have no tools

Yesterday it worked fine. Now when I go to to login, its says welcome administrator, but I have no administrative tools. Is there something I can add to the user record in the database to get my permissions back? This is the only registered account there is in the system. Thanks for your help

did you make sure you're in admin mode and not user mode? there should be a link in your menu

Your login probably doesn't stick due to cookie issues. Check for yourself: after being greeted with "welcome USERNAME", does the next screen still have the login link in the menu? If yes, your login does not stick. Clear your cookies.
